That doesn't mean that they have to show that they actually give a shit on Eurovision.. All a matter of opinion then. In someway I believe they do care about ESC, however it doesn't mean they have to send someone known or typique style. Yes they could try harder this time but still. It's done with so let's accept it. There's always the future And of course I am disappointed with the artist choice, but I have no clue who they are and I only know this song of them so I can't judge them all negatively. Then you don't get me Look at all the Big 6 ( 7 ) countries.. they all put effort.. more or less. Even France sends a vocally amazing singer, Spain, Italy, Germany, all are doing well on the odds. I'm not saying that the UK has to send a huge known singer, but not saying anything until 2 weeks before the deadline.. that actually speaks for itself.

Wtf omg, whoever decided to pick this must've been drunk or sth.. It sounds so dated omg.. But it's so epic, I kinda like/love it I can't rate it yet though.. ;_; We'll see, I don't expect it to finish high at Eurovision though Yay for something uptempo

I guess that the UK just have a different attitude I'm not completely sure about the public's opinion and/or BBC's opinion, though yes I do agree they could put a bit of effort, maybe announcement earlier or such. Or try something new, but that's BBC's decision in the end anyway. At least the UK are going to Eurovision

and I'm really surprised to see all this hatred :/ does just a little bit of jazzy sound added to a catchy pop song turn it into a total shit?? This is... strange. they can't accept that its different from what they want. Look at the Common Linnets last year. Most people hated the song before the shows, but then what happened? They had awesome staging and eventually came 2nd and did better than Conchita in most European Charts. Also they are 11th in the Bettings odds atm, beating Spain.
