and I'm really surprised to see all this hatred :/ does just a little bit of jazzy sound added to a catchy pop song turn it into a total shit?? This is... strange. they can't accept that its different from what they want. Look at the Common Linnets last year. Most people hated the song before the shows, but then what happened? They had awesome staging and eventually came 2nd and did better than Conchita in most European Charts. Also they are 11th in the Bettings odds atm, beating Spain. I do agree tbh most comments I read (here and in some other places) are aimed against the style, not the song the most funny thing I've read today is that the whole electro-swing style and sound is OUTDATED guys please, check out Parov Stelar and Waldeck just for example and then stop talking about things you don't have the clue about thanks (omg I need to calm down )

Love it how people always say "different = people will love it" Difference isn't the key to success, the song should still be good Common Linnets were relaxing but although this song is catchy, it's a kind of lowbrow joke entry imo. It's funny but juries will rank this low and the televotes will probably think "wtf" when they hear it for the 1st time. Also, you can't compare the Common Linnets to Electro Velvet as they have both completly different music styles

Parov Stelar & Waldeck make modern electro swing style, the UK's entry is nothing compared to them imo I like the entry tho, but yeah you're comparing big with small (not 'good with bad') imo

It was something so unique and special and enjoyable, while this..

I agree that in terms of the whole style it's not a masterpiece (still quite good though), but I'm already happy that we have something like this. and then people start complaining like "omg no I hate all this cabare style" :/

Admittedly I would like a climax, but I still love it. @fizzyfrost we are getting really worked up about this >.<

Big credits for trying something different and bringing some fun into this monotonous ballad-dominated field It'll certainly flop, but I like it Of course the UK could send something much more competitive (and I wonder almost every year why they just don't do it), but it's not bad at all
