The head of the
Austrian broadcaster, 
, has confirmed participationof the
fourteenth edition of Northvision Song Contest is proud to interally select our entry once again.We're feeling more than alright as what we've recieved a placing being worth coming down to compete in the Pre-Qualification Round.
We will thank our artist,
Virginia Ernst, for competing and representinng Austria in the previous edition in 
Tel Aviv. She did her very best job to perform her song "Soldier". Unfortunately with a 17th place and 42 points, it was just barely missing having our country fighting in the Semi Finals for this edition, and we'll make ourselves feeling concerned to send in a song that will hopefully get us through more than this quite low result, now that we're in for the PQR like what we did for three editions ago, when "Across the Universe" by Thirteen Days made a succesful result of both qualifying from the round and from the Semi Final. We will cross our own fingers that we can make this happen for our next representant that will compete for Austria for this edition in Kazakhstan.Rumour has it that the
Austrian representant is yet an artist who has not attempted NVSC before, and for that matter keeping this pattern of having a new Austrian artist for every edition! 
Austria should be a forbidden crime.
