I'd rather send good songs rather than send mediocre singers just because people don't like seeing the artist more than a few times. I didn't actually like the original song and I only sent it because I felt Slovakia ran out of songs until celeste made her new single. How come  Daniel has never sent an artist twice so far and keeps on sending original yet good entries? Because as dniel said, the faroe island has a great music industry unlike slovakia where theres more rappers than singers. If you saw me making a national selection thats true to the countries music industry then it would be three pop songs, one vaguely rock song and the rest would be rap. Some would say just send a rap song... pls I would never get to the final and I'd be i the PQR rounds every single edition. |

How come Daniel has never sent an artist twice so far and keeps on sending original yet good entries? I think it's more about the musical style/genre here Nordic countries have a music industry which pleases the main part of the public (which includes NVSC participants)  Slovakia, as many Eastern (and Southern countries), at the opposite, have more "different" songs, which are considered as bad by a few people (and probably  Logan himself) And  Daniel will probably re-use artists in the future  Because: 1. Even though he found a lot of songs, it's a little country so it's impossible for it to have as many artists as  Sweden for instance 2. That's not forbidden, not disturbing either But anyway, I try to use all kinds of genres for my country, instead of sending Zaho, Amel Bent etc. each edition (even though that would probably lead me to better results) I love a lot of slovak songs but most of it is really bad. You say it's barbecues it's different? Noooo.... nooooooooo..... It's bad because it's cheap. The songs you see me send are the highest quality of songs. Also, a lot of countries have the benefit of the aqua charts and all the other ones. They can just watch that and find a really good song that could win but Slovakia is lucky if they get two songs in a year and the two songs that get in are the songs I've sent... |

I love Slovakian music but they need to do a much better job of supporting the artists and organising their website to show only slovak artists. Their artists are all mixed with the rest of the world so... lol
