 Rising Star Føroyar 02
KVF just confirmed that Rising Star Føroyar would make a return.
Most of the selection will stay as it was before but there
are a few details that are new in the second edition!
Here is the whole description:
1. The basics!
In three shows (two Semi-finals and one Final), you will be the jury
to decide the Faroese entry for the fourteenth edition. Each show is
held on togethertube. There won't be any recap.
Each song is awarded a special amount of percent (%).
The top two acts of each Semi-final will reach the Final.
Additionally a professional jury will select a fifth song from the
Semi-finals that would be presented as wildcard in the Final as well.
In the Final, again all songs will be rated by you (in % of course).
The best song will be the Faroese entry for the forteenth edition.
2. How exactly does this work?
At first we will meet for the show on togethertube.
If there are enough people, then the show can begin.
I will insert each video and while it is playing,
I will set up a poll here on the forums for you to vote.
You can only vote during the performance (Live Voting).
That means that the results of each Semi-final and the Final
will come directly after all songs have been performed.
Isn't that exciting?
3. But how exactly do we vote?
As already mentioned, there will be a poll in which you can vote.
This poll consists of two answers: Up (▲) and down (▼).
While the song plays (3 to 5 minutes), you have to decide for
one of the answers. If you do so, you will influence the percentage.
The "up"-percentage will only be counted. This means that you
can lower it by clicking down. For example 10 people voted:
7 voted "up" (70%) and 3 voted "down" (30%)
-> The song would have reached 70%
(The polls will automatically lock after the song is finished
and they will immediately show the song's result.)
KVF hopes for another successful edition of the selection
with positive feedback by the viewers. |

I have a suggestion. I think it would be better to tell the results after all the four songs are played because otherwise when it comes to the last songs, I believe, people start voting not only for/against the song which is being played at the moment but also against/for the song which is in the lead at the moment. (e.g. in RSF1 Lena Andreassen was in the lead before Valravn, and people who didn't like her could vote for Valravn even though they weren't going to vote for them at the actual contest) (and yes, could you please tag me for the announcements?  ) |
