The Italian Delegation has decided to hold a National Selection called La Voce Italiana (The Italian Voice) in order to select the entry that will represent Italy in the 38th edition of WWWSC. This national selection will consist of three Semi-Finals and the Grand Final. In each Semi will perform 6 artists and three of them will qualify directly to the Grand Final; the 10th finalist will be chosen by the Delegation. The National Selection will probably start this weekend with the first Semi-Final and will go on until the deadline for the 38th edition.

 Breaking News
La Voce Italiana will start tomorrow evening with the first six artists competing in Semi-Final 1. Each Semi will consist of 2 female and 2 male singers + a band + one foreign singer with connections with Italy. The voting lines will stay open for 4/5 days; votes must be sent to me via PM according to this voting system: -  to the first -  to the second -  to the third -  to the fourth -  to the fifth -  to the last one. For those interested in voting and in following this National Selection, let me know if you want to be tagged tomorrow in the post with all the songs! A domani, see you tomorrow! |

 Ukraine has voted! Actuleh I liked 5 of 6 songs in the semi, and even my wasn't really bad, just a bit bland compared to all others  |

SEMIFINAL 1: RESULTSThe First Semifinal is official finished. Let's discover the three artists who succeeded in winning a ticket for the Grand Final.
The First Qualifier is..... Noemi with "Don't get me wrong"
 The Second Qualifier is.... Biagio Antonacci with "Non vivo più senza te"
 The Third and Last Qualifier is... Nek ft Laura Pausini with "Sei solo tu" Congratulations to the three qualifiers and good luck for the Grand Final! Moreover, the chances for the three non-qualifiers are not finished: they are still able to win a ticket, the tenth and last one, for the Grand Final (this Last Chance Round will be held after the three semifinals). The second Semifinal will probably start tonight/tomorrow, so let's stay tuned!  Semifinal 2 We've arrived at the Second Semifinal of La Voce Italiana; other six artists will compete in order to reach the Grand Final. Let's know who they are:01 - Malika Ayane - "Come foglie" (As leaves)02 - Matia Bazar - "Ti sento" (I feel you)03 - Rocco Hunt - "Nu juorno buono" (A good day)04 - Chiara - "Straordinario" (Extraordinary)05 - Alexia - "Dimmi come" (Tell me how)06 - Francesco Renga ft Alessandra Amoroso - "L'amore altrove" (Love somewhere else)Something very particular: in this semi we have an entry half sung in the dialect of Naples and an entry that can be considered as Operatic Pop.
