I think the rule could be kinda useful because people's opinion change. For example  "Guillotine" flopped in contests in 2015 but then got 4th in NVSC in 2016. This could happen to some NS songs as well ofc  but I understand the realism-argument as well  It won in my contest though in 2015.  |

Realism. NVSC is still fictional. Making things harder for the player is quite bullshit in my opinion.  It's basically raising the quality aswell. And without this rule I am sure most users would spam re-use, even if you all say you wouldn't. "NVSC is still a fictional song contest" isn't really an argument either... you should send fictional singers and songs then which you can find "Making it harder for users to find and use songs" is what helped rising the quality of the entries a lot and one of the reasons why NVSC has become so popular I think |

I think the rule increases the quality of the contest and I want to discover mostly new music. "NVSC is still a fictional song contest" isn't really an argument either... you should send fictional singers and songs then Your argument is no argument though. NVSC is a fictional contest and this is a fact. |
