The foreign act isn't a "must-have", but only "something you can do" as long as you have 9 native songs if I understood it correctly. So I can make a selection with 10 native songs only?

They would not force you to use a foreign act once you have 9 native songs. Especially when they're strict with what foreign act you can use  So yea, you can use 10+ native songs in your NS without using a foreign act. |

I think it would be a good idea that instead of forbidding songs which alredy participated in a selection FOREVER, just forbid them for a period of time. For example, imagine that a song participated in the NS for #20. Maybe a period of 10 editions (for example) so it could participate ONLY via NS, or maybe according to their actual result on the national selection (for example, if it got last you can use it next edition, if it got pre-last in two editions... etc). I don't know, I think it would be more useful for everybody.  |
