Are they too? I never really cared about them. They usually have a lot of returning artists each year  I'd still say Malta are the ones who got the most tho. |

please, no. It's really tiring to see the same people in Melodifestivalen again and again. Sweden is no Andorra, it's not a problem to find 28 interesting artists who haven't done Melodifestivalen in last two years at least :/ As you know many countries have these artists. The best example is Malta imo. it's strange to compare Malta (~300k inhabitants) to Sweden (~9mln inhabitants) though... |

In Malta it's just whichever year you watch there are always the same people.

Melodfestivalens official facebook page just posted a picture of Nanne Grönwall, Carola, and Andreas Lundstedt, asking the question; "What does these 3 have in common?"

Michael Fannon has won Svensktoppen Nästa 2015
with ''Kommer Tid, Kommer Råd''!
Today, the final of Svensktoppen Nästa 2015 held place.
The top two consisted of Jawone and Michael Fannon.
After a long time, it was decided that Michael Fannon has won Svensktoppen Nästa 2015
with his song ''Kommer Tid, Kommer Råd''.
But, a new twist happened.
This year is the first year were the winner of Svensktoppen Nästa and the expert jury pick were not the same.
Instead of Michael Fannon, some other artist were picked by the expert jury to compete in Melodifestivalen 2016.
Smajling Swedes, also known as SMAJL, were selected, and therefor, are the first participants of Melodifestivalen 2016.
They competed in Svensktoppen Nästa 2015 with their song ''Goosebumps''.
Smajling Swedes has also done more songs besides Goosebumps, like ''Warfare'', and ''Summer Soul''.
