 Hungary to withdraw? For the next edition and on, the North Vision Song Contest will be confided to Duna TV (and not Magyar Televizio anymore). New channel means new head of delegation. The new Hungarian HoD said in a press article this morning : "North Vision? That shit sold to Slovakia and that costs us half of our GDP?" We explained after that effectively, North Vision is very expensive, especially because of A Magyar Dal. "A Magyar Dal? This selection belongs to M1 and will remain there! I have better programms where I can spend the channel's money! And if I'm nice and let us participate, count on an internal selection!" Éva Novodomszky, Hungarian journalist and TV presenter, who co-hosted the Pre-Qualification Round in Faroe Islands said as an answer : "I will miss A Magyar Dal! I presented it since its beginning! Now I have no job! They didn't even pay me when I was the Hungarian spokesperson! I better find a corner to cry!" We still have no official statements about a participation of Hungary next edition. But one thing is sure : A Magyar Dal, Europe's second favourite national selection after the Swedish one, won't have a 10th edition. Éva Novodomszky : "It's terrible! For the 10th anniversary we were previewing a huge show with huge LED screans, international juries voting like in the final of NVSC, an interval act with Rihanna and a red carpet ceremony! What a pity! This will never happen now Duna TV is in charge of the contest! Stay tuned! Who will I bitch about now? ;_; |

 On a press conference held on May 25th, the Delegation of Moldova discussed budget cuts and competitions such as the Eurovision and Northvision Song Contest. The Head Of Delegation: "Currently, I am not supporting
a return to the Northvision Song Contest. There've been some complications with the NBU recently,
which made us avoid the competition [...] If TRM returns to a participation in the contest, we'll make
sure to change the way of selecting the entries. [...] I don't approve the way songs are currently voted at."OGAN Moldova has taken the offensive and launched a campaign called "#NorthDova" on Twitter and Instagram. |

 Greece confirms for North Vision Song Contest #15! Alex,HoD of Nerit,said: ''Yeah,we had our worst result in the previous North Vision,but we won't give up so easily.NVSC is one of the most successful TV programs,here in Greece,and we receive a lot of applications from singers who want to participate in NVSC all the time.So we decided to continue our famous National Selection,NorthSong#07 with a kinda different method this time.You will learn it soon in the thread which will be made.'' |

 The new Armenian broadcaster AMRTV has confirmed the  Armenian participation on the fifteenth edition of the North Vision Song Contest!The reason of the new broadcaster is because ARMTV has evolved with the same Host of Delegation, and create AMRTV. Even the digits look similar, they aren't the same, as ARMTV means Armenian Television and AMRTV means Armenian Radio-Television, but that's not the case.Armenia has decided to go through an internal selection this edition, as the country hasn't had an average good position in the contest.The singer will be revealed soon, stay tuned! |
