WWWSC - Special Edition Suggestions Thread

I didn't mean that finding the songs would be difficult, but listening to them For example the troll songs and forgotten genres would have bored me for sure. I voted for the traditional songs and the lyrics idea btw.

You sound like all that what you pretend not to sound like - mad, whiny...  

1.) It doesn't help anyone if you complain AFTERWARDS, the poll is closed, this theme won and it's over! Too late for any complaints. You should have stated your opinion earlier, before we started it, maybe we would have considered your thoughts then. Now it's just too late! We won't change it just because you are against it. 

2.) It got the majority of votes, so there were at least these 15 people who liked that theme! I'd advise you to ACCEPT AND RESPECT the opinion of these people! 

3.) I seriously can't care about what certain users might feel about it, might dislike or whatever. If I consider the opinion of every single one of the 47 participants, we'll never come to a conclusion and we will never have a special edition. That's why we had that damn survey!!! Now one theme won, that's democracy, get over it and live with that winner! And if Jozef dislikes this theme as well, he can articulate and tell it himself, he doesn't need a lawyer that speaks for him. 

4.) Obviously not everyone can be satisfied with this result, so you either arrange yourself with it (like the majority will, I didn't vote for this theme either, but I respect the choice and won't complain about it) or leave this contest, for this edition or how long you want. That's up to you. I certainly won't submit an entry for you, just to have even more complaints or negative posts about it. So it's 100% your decision if you participate or not, as I said, I cannot care about every single little problem. 

5.) You sent Lauris Reinikis just last month in WVSC and won with him, so I don't see the problem of sending him once again. Furthermore about that Top 3 theory you have, that's complete nonsense. We've seen winners that failed in their 2nd or another attempt, for example Helena Paparizou or Guy Sebastian, who both won the contest once, didn't even qualify in a later edition. We have to send new songs after all, and who says they'll be as liked as their previous one?!

6.) The originality or overused argument won't count this time, as people are bound to send certain artists, which might be overused nowadays. So who cares! That's what a best-of edition is about and what comes with it! And maybe you should stop thinking about what other people might think, you'll never be able to satisfy everyone anyway. 


7.) And most important: It's just ONE edition!!!! I don't really get the problem. In all other 39 editions you could make your own, completely free choice, and you'll be able to do the same in all editions afterwards. I seriously don't understand how you can get so mad about ONE stupid special edition which will be over very soon, and which was selected in a public poll. It's not like I can do anything about it now, people voted for it and that's how it is! 


And a little hint: Maybe you should stop bashing other people's themes and opinions, I don't think that makes you well-liked. I could say I didn't like some of your suggested ideas either, but I'm polite so I didn't post it here until now 



Good, I think I've explained my point of view. 

Anyway, I'm tired of arguing with you about something I cannot change, so I'll leave it now. I've wasted enough time on this. 

So participate if you want to, or leave it. I don't mind, really.

I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve by complaining about the results, since I'm sure none of it will have any effect on how the contest is run, and the theme certainly won't be altered because 1 person out of 47 voters is unhappy. If you're certain that you're going to dislike every moment this, then withdraw if you want, because it sounds to me like you think this is the worst edition ever.

Now onto a more positive topic: I'm actually excited for this edition
