Good afternoon Europe and welcome to the format thread of Sounds of Croatia #5.
This edition will be using a similar concept to our first ever national selection for the 10th edition. So instead of 4 or 5 songs, there'll be now 11. Let me explain below;
-10 acts will be
Croatian, while one will be foreign (from the Balkan region probably). All songs will either be in English, Croatian and the language of the foreign act. HRT has looked at some suggestions in the suggestions thread, and well, maybe you'll see a few of them here!-11 countries can apply to be juries. I have decided that associate broadcasters could apply for jury places. The other countries who don't apply can vote in the televoting.
Voting will be like the first edition too:
12,10,8,7-6,-2 points. This is jury voting.
For televoting, you'll likely have 1,000 or so points to give out to all the songs.
The first song announcement will be either on Wednesday or Thursday.
