COUP? WAS ERMY READY FOR IT?
On 12 August 2017, as reported just before 22:00 EEST, military jets were witnessed flying over Shangri-La, the bridges that connect the four Ermian islands were already closed, it was the start of coup d'état against our democratic system and including the Ermian Prime Minister, Apostolis Hoe. Apostolis was safe from the start of the coup in the capital of Lakadamia, Pavlodia where he had been on holiday what a bitch.
From around 22:30 to midnight, helicopters bombed the police special forces headquarters, just outside of Shangri-La. The first attacks left 5 (civilians) dead and 17 injured.
At 23:14, it was reported by TRLK that soldiers were 'inside' the The Ermian Television (TOE), in Shangri La. During the coup, soldiers forced anchor Afroksylanthos Karas to read out a statement saying that the Ermian Forces have completely taken over the of the country to reinstate constitutional order, human rights and freedoms, the rule of law and general security that was damaged. The plotters said they had "done so to preserve democratic order, and that the rule of law must remain a priority". The statement also ordered temporary martial rule, and claimed a new constitution would be prepared "as soon as possible". All the channels except TOE#1 were then taken off air.

 Lakadamia highly worried about the current situation in Ermy.
After the announcement of the successful coup in  Ermy, and the current situation in the whole country,
The Lakadamian prime minister, has already announced blocking any relations with the people behind the coup :
"We are already sure to confirm that we won't recognize this government from the archipelago of Ermy, we,
as their neighbours, and their friend nation, which we have much in common, have the necessary to help them through
these difficult time. However, we will look at the moment of how the situation will go for thinking what to do."

At the same time, on the streets of the east part of Lakadamia, where most of the Ermian community living in Lakadamia,
the population has gone down to the streets, for sending their throughts to the population, on the archipelago.
The people on the streets are claiming words like those one listed :
"We could have prevented that."
"Make Ermy Free Again!"
At this moment, the Lakadamian prime minister and the Ermian one are having a discussion
in Misneyne, for knowing more with the situation and to know what to do with Ermy.

EXCLUSIVE: A COUP IN MARONESIA Vamislava, Maronesia - The next day after the coup in  UI Ermy, on 13 August 2017, just an hour ago, a section of the Maronesian military launched a coordinated operation in several major cities to topple the monarchy and unseat Queen Dominica IV. Soldiers and tanks are taking to the streets and a number of explosions rang out in the capital Vamislava and Majlendi, the second largest city in the country and the capital of the maronesian crystallians.
 Some of the rumours say that the new government of Ermy plants agents inside countries' governments, then take over the said one. Others say that the iselanders sent communists in our nation to generate a revolution. However, for the first time in the maronesian history, we are facing ethnic clashes - the maronesian population is blaming the crystallians for the coup, pretending that they are the reason for the the start of coup d'état against our monarchy (let's mention that since Maronesia was created in 176 year, the monarchy has never been ruled by a crystallian). Early reports say that Dominica and her family are safe and right now they are travelling to  Akureyri, Alkyria. Since around 21:00, helicopters are still bombing the police special forces headquarters and police air force headquarters in Savlevo, just outside of Vamislava. Some minutes ago, the soldiers occupied the Avelov Square in Vamislava and blocked the Karlovi Bridge, which connects the capital and  Frootania.  Evergreen has already closed their border with Maronesia and we're expecting Frootania to answer the same way.
We are sure there are more targeted countries and we have the information about some of them already - Evergreen,  Aquia,  Pashlanahuy,  Golden Land,  Flirskmasto. We hope that the entire world would be able to prevent themselves by losing the freedom over their lands, especially the mentioned countries. So far, the attacks left 82 dead and 123 injured and we're expecting this number to grow. |

 Katsyrian answer about situations in Ermy and Maronesia!
Shorty after Ermian announcement about a coup in their country followed by another in Maronesia,
the president of Katsyria, Katerina Graham declared her intention to stay away from any possible coup which might occur in Katsyria.
We don't know what to expect, it's been rumoured that Katsyria might be one of the main targets.
At this hour, all the flights to and from Ermy and Maronesia have been cancelled for unknown amount of time, at least until the situation calms down.
All the citizens of the following countries were provided free accomodation and food until they can fly again to their homelands.
But until a solution is found, every person entering the country will be verified to not let suspicious people cross the borders of our country.
 We don't want to put in danger our country and we are surely not going to recognize the new government if the situation gets out of control.
Hopefully the worst-case scenario is not going to happen.
But for now you don't have to worry.

SCHOOL GETTING EXPLODED IN HARISH ISLANDS
Unfortanately, tonight, a school in small Harish city, Seroim got exploded,
by a person, which was not yet recognized by Harish polices.
Harish TV stations and news websites have some more news about the attack:
"It was confirmed that the guy who made the Seroim's school explode committed suicide.
However, we still don't know his nationality, neither his name.
Unfortanately, 2 people are so far confirmed to get killed in the attack, a school secretary and a charwoman.
Probably there will be more victims revealed soon, but we still don't know anything else."

Harish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Paul Feis, in an interview with harishnews24.com said:
"It's an awful feeling to have another unpleasant situations in Fantasia, especially that our country, Harish Islands,
seemed to be a peaceful country last years. With last terrorist attack being in 2013, we didn't have any more
dangerous terrorist attacks in our country since then.
For now, we have to make sure that no more terrorist attacks is going to happen in next days.
We need to do the best we can to not let it happen, however it's better for you to stay home,
if you don't have to leave it.

As it's August now, and there are still 3 weeks until school year begins in Harish Islands,
we need to wait for an official statement from Minister of Education, whether the school year
will still begin on 1 September, or will it need to be postponed for later weeks.
Scrobbling through comments under news about the attack on several sites, we can see many Harishians
being afraid of what just happened and that it may be just a preview of what's gonna happen in Fantasia. |

 Fast-moving Beechwick wildfire prompts evacuations

SOMERS POINT, Beechwick -- A lightning-caused fire in northwestern Beechwick has burned three-quarters of a square mile in the Sonawaiwai National Forest and is threatening residences southeast of Somers Point.
Forest officials say the Sonawaiwai Ridge Fire is one of several that began during a lightning storm late Monday.
The blaze quickly grew to 500 acres overnight and exploded to 1,400 acres by early Sunday afternoon, EBC affiliate KEBX reports. Structures and residences to the east of Somers Point are threatened by the fire.
Sonawaiwai County officials say the evacuations were ordered at about 2 a.m. Sunday for residents who live on the following roads: Sonawaiwai Creek, Wandawega Creek, Wawanakwa Creek, Colton and Leverston Creek. Other residents were on pre-evacuation notice.  Somers Point residences evacuating from the the wildfire disaster. However, fire officials encouraged all residents living near the fire to evacuate before being told to leave because fires can spread rapidly.
A Sonawaiwai County dispatcher says the sheriff's office evacuated 100 residences overnight while other residents left on their own. Several campsites were also evacuated, KEBX reports.
A firefighter who was hurt falling off a truck and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, KEBX reports. Officials told the station the firefighter was in stable condition Sunday afternoon. |

Good News from  Lanovina:
First panda baby to be born in Lanovina
Sarindon, 14th August: in the middle of all these dark and negative news, Lanovina actually experiences something positive: for the first time ever, a panda baby was born in a Lanovian zoo, the Sarindonian Animal Park. The baby was born at approximately 2am local time and the zoo put the lucky news on its website now, which will surely improve the morning for the Lanovians!
They also announced, that a name competition will be held and that everyone can suggest a name for the baby on the website. The zoo also confirmed the babies gender to be female. Meanwhile, not only the baby itself but also its mother are fine and recovering from giving birth.
The parents of the baby moved from Alkyria to Lanovina, as a gift, 4 years ago. Several Lanovian zoos have tried to "produce" panda babies before, but it never worked, so this baby is a sensation in our country already.

Fordia Reacts to All Recent Events
Emerold Dusen and Frances Drosel (president-elect) reacted to the current events in Fantasia, the coups in Ermy and Maronesia, the exploded  Harish school and the wildfire in Eldance.
"First of all, I still demand a special assembly of the United Nations. Anyway, military support will be sent to Ermy and Maronesia immidiately. I guess more will be said later."
Frances Drosel stated that she wants to keep in contact with all affected governments.
 Fordian media is suspicious towards the  Harish news as there are no pictures available yet.
Also both politicians posted something regarding the Lanovian panda baby.

ALKYRIA ANSWERS TO THE TWO COUPS
(the Alkyrian navy defense was eventually strengthened due to the threats received and the danger arising)
Akureyri, Alkyria.
Following the two coups which followed in Ermy and Maronesia, the Alkyrian parliament has decided to consolidate the navy defense in order to diminish the eventual potential of a coup in the country. All the 8 ports in the nation have been supplied with emergency supplies for the ones which managed to fly away from the entire terror, as well as defensive measures, as Alkyria's naval army will stay on guard untill the alert will fade.
As the communists manage to occupy a vast majority of both Ermy and Maronesia, the Maronesian royal family was forced to retreat to safety, and at this moment, they remain under protection of Alkyria's Crystal Division in the capital city of Akureyri. They managed to reach the capital unharmed, however very traumatised after the sudden outburst led by the communists in Maronesia.

 Lidonian transitional government steps back!
The spark for these demonstrations, with the highlight being a protest with half a million participants in Estport yesterday, was the mass panic at the public viewing of the FANA final, with almost 50 people dead. The following wave of protest ended up in destabilizing the transitional governments position so much, that they were forced to step back today. It is expected that the elections will be held soon now, first reactions already included thoughts of holding elections in the next two weeks. The integrity of the state will now be upheld by police and civil servants, probably with the goal to organize the elections.
The complete withdrawal of the military also led to the fact that with the two last coups in mind, there's a fear of the public against new forces, even though both affected countries are far away from Lidonia. |
