What is 4Portugal?
4Portugal is the National selection, that will be held for International Music Festival from now on!
The blue circles in the Logo will be filled with images of the artists.
How many acts do compete?
In every edition there will be four acts, therefore the name.
Who votes?
There is a Televoting consisting of seven regional sub-votings. These are Madeira, the Azores, Lisbon, Alentejo, Ribatejo, Algarve and Northern Portugal. Every regions announces their ranking. There also four spots for famous Portuguese jury members. Each Jury member counts as much as one regional Televoting. They simply have to rank all songs.
How can you take part?
Four IMF Players can apply as Jurys via PM to me. They have also to submit the Jury Member, who they "want to be", if there are two who have submitted the same person, the one who did this later, will be asked to submit a new one. I will write here when all Jury spots are given away. The rest can vote as a Televoter. As a Televoter you split 4000 Votes between the four entries, all Televotings will be split between the seven regions. So if 14 people give their televotes, the ranking of each region consists of two Televoters. You will know before the voting starts, for which ranking, your Votes were used. If, for example, 17 Televotes were given the three most populated regions ranking consists of three Votings.
How is the timetable?
The songs will be presented until next thursday (10.9.15), the recap will be published, as the grand final results of #29 are out. A final date to vote isn't decided yet.

It's Mariza!The Portuguese singer comes to 4P to conquer our hearts with her big, calm voice. She is widely known for her song "Oh gente de minha terra", which received a great feedback.
The Song she will sing is a slow, emotional ballad named "O tempo nao para" You can listen to her entry below:

Today, the second act of 4Portugal was revealed! Click on this Spoiler to know who it is:
It's Richie Campbell!The reggae singer from Portugal, brings the summer to the competition. Singing Reggae is risky, because there aren't many successful reggae songs in contest like IMF yet. But Richie want to fix this issue. Look below what song he'll be singing!
He will sing the slow, but happy "Get with you". In the song, he sings about the heart of a loved person, he could not conquer. Will it happen the same way with the audience of 4Portugal, or will he finally conquer the hearts of a big crowd?
This act will get the starting number 2
