Female medley relay team wins 1st gold for Pacifica in Fantasiad AYALA, Pacifica - Pacifica registered its first gold medal in 2015 Autumn Fantastic Games in Coldhaven, Scandavia on Friday, October 23 as the Women's 4x100m medley relay swimming team earned a gold medal in Women's 4x100m medley relay event at the Aquatics Center. The team finished 4th with a count of 3:58.88 just seconds behind Kerwan in the heat round, In the final round, The team finished with a time of 3:52.05 placing 1st in the field of 8 teams, The Fordian team took the silver while the Kerwanese team finished bronze. Aside from their gold medal, The Pacifican team also won 2 silvers including the women's basketball team and 3 bronzes in Fantasiad so far.

Truck bomb wounded nine people at Galera mall
GALERA, Pacifica - a pick-up truck with false number plates blasted last Friday in the underground car park of the North Point mall, sending late-night shoppers running for safety. The incident occurred about 11.30pm at North Point shopping mall in Galera Beach. The mall had been open late for holiday shoppers. Nine people were injured in the blast including 6 Pacificans, 2 Evamaans and a Lakadamian guy, All are in hospital at the moment. "It was a big explosion. I was scared, Im scared that people may change their mind about this destination" Iya Mendoza , an Angosturan tourist spending her holidays at the island "It's a car bomb but we cannot confirm what type of explosive materials they used," Pacifican national police spokesman Lieutenant General Julio Alonso said.

Pacifican entry makes it to Fantasian Contest finals for the first timeJessica Mauboy performing in the 1st semi final
KALIDOLINN, Kerwan - For the first time, Pacifica's entry made it through the grand finals of the contest
The 26 year old singer Jessica Mauboy sang her upbeat song "This Ain't Love" in front of the thousands of audience in Kalidolinn's National Arena last Saturday night (Sunday midnight in Pacifica) in the 1st semi final of Fantasia Contest 2.
23 acts from 23 Fantasian countries competed in the semi final round including Pacifica, Jessica Mauboy performed in 15th after popular Adele from Lakadamia and before Jamah's Demetra Malalan. In the field of 23 acts, Pacifica is one of the ten country that were announced as qualifiers.
The other nine qualifiers are Angostura, Demacia, Fordia, Vradiazi, Baesnia, Prunia, US Eldance, Pashlanahuy and Lakadamia

Pacifica celebrates its Centennial Independence Day
For over 100 years, Pacifica has transformed itself from one of the poorest and corrupt country into one of the most developed countries in Fantasia
Ayala was once again the main venue of Independence Day celebration, Estimated 800,000 people flocked to the city to witness the Centennial celebration including the flag-raising ceremony, A concert headlining some of popular Pacifican performers and the city's biggest Independence Day fireworks show ever
In the middle of the afternoon, President Fernando Marcos opened the Centennial Independence Day ceremony with a flag raising in front of Aguinaldo House, where the Pacifican flag was first raised 100 years ago
The celebration this year included a special tribute to the fouding fathers of the country and famous Pacificans
