I find it unfair that: 1. you get disqualified only here if you don't vote. Only strike should be given. 2. there wasn't even one voting reminder in those 3 days. Firstly Vaios, this is not against you or something, this is what bothers me generally: I don't find this unfair at all because: 1. So many people put so much work into making this contest possible, people take their free time to make recaps, organise votings and make results videos and tables. We, the council, try to make the contest as fair as possible for everyone, even the "inactive users". But if these people don't fucking care it's not funny anymore. I mean, we can give them the same reaction "we don't fucking care about them". So a disqualification is, in my eyes, the first thing we should do, and always do. They didn't even apologize or anything for not voting or voting late ever. This is disrespectful towards the organiser (Matt) in my opinion. 2. Even if they were reminded they wouldn't have voted, let's be honest. How is a voting reminder needed for an event anyway that everyone talks about on the board weeks and months before it actually starts? (Once the Semi-final results of the previous edition are revealed, people start preparing for the PQR.) It's correct that a voting reminder should have been posted but at least Matt gave a statement and an apology so actually he did nothing wrong. He should not be punished for anything just because he made a little error.

To everyone saying it's unfair that countries are being DSQ - it's not. It's what Anesović said actually. By not voting, they are actually giving themselves a better chance to qualify as the margins between the countries are not even big and every country gets points. Edit: And because I actually think that some might not understand what I mean, you can take any of the PQRs as an example. Like the PQR of #14: if Greece hadn't voted, Greece would qualify. Same for Armenia and any of the other non-qualifiers.

Sorry but how exactly are they giving themselves a better opportunity by not voting?

Sorry but how exactly are they giving themselves a better opportunity by not voting? Because, if they don't vote, there are less points in total, which means the margins are smaller and thus they may be able to get over the margin to qualify because other people voted for them, but other people don't receive any points from them. It's kind of hard to explain I guess edit: meh dimi already explained it in his post

Sorry but how exactly are they giving themselves a better opportunity by not voting? Lmao I just edited my post about that Oh now I get it But there's no sense in doing that since even if you had only 1% chance to qualify, now you have 0%

I don't get why the co-HoD of Serbia didn't vote. He is active on Facebook and even asked me if he can become the co-HoD of Turkey. It seems like that he doesn't want to be the co-HoD of Serbia anymore but that isn't and shouldn't be a reason for not voting.
