The first round of the bidding phase kicked off!So far, two cities/venues have sent their applications to the NBU and the national broadcaster SRG SSR.
We're talking about Geneva and Lugano, applying with the Arena de Genève and the Resega respectively. The first venue, the Arena de Genève is the fourth largest indoor-arena in Switzerland. Located in Geneva and with a capacity up to 10.000 people it seems not too big and not too small for the North Vision Song Contest.
 The second venue is the Resega, located in Lugano in the Canton of Ticino. In case this venue gets chosen, the ice-hockey hall would be transformed to a big concert hall. With the NBU setups, the hall can give room up to 7.800 people but despite the low capacity, it would still offer all the conditions for a great show. Lugano seems to be a small city, but the town supplies with enough hotel rooms, press conference centers et cetera all needs for North Vision fans.
