But why was there this weird NS rule for Malta and Switzerland? Because Malta and Switzerland allow anyone to participate in their NS in the real world but it's just unfair projected on the fantasy song contest world So it's because of their NS? Okay then I always thought it was because of the music industries. |

  Sweden returns to normality!After SVT has reduced the selection process in the previous edition, fans were worried for an upcoming withdrawal.
However, people can now be relieved as SVT has confirmed Sweden's participation in the 17th edition of North Vision.
Along the confirmation, it was announced that Fantasifestivalen would be held to determine the entry
and the selection would return to its old format with 28 songs divided into 4 semi-finals.
The Head of Delegation, Jan Björkman, said: "Of course, we will keep participating in the contest despite some arrangement difficulties. But we can't deny the huge population of the contest within our country, referred to high viewing figures, as well as high participation applications. We are not expecting a too good result in  Jerusalem, but we are trying to not see it as a defeat. Instead we are trying to improve anything that can be improved. Plans for the upcoming edition of Fantasifestivalen are already ongoing." |

BTRC confirms  Belarusian participate in NorthVision Song Contest. On official press-conference HoD Dmitry Kalinin said, that he hopes for an acceptable result in Jerusalem and confirmed the internal selection for song. |

  AzTV confirms Azerbaijan's participation at the seventeenth edition of North Vision Song Contest!
A decision on Azerbaijan's selection process for the next edition of the contest will be decided in due course,
however it is highly speculated that a national final will take place in order to select the next Azerbaijani entry. |

I actually had the time to listen to the five songs fully in the last selection. This time there will be 28 songs again and I'll probably be missing a lot of rounds. But whale ; I still enjoy FF  |
