to be honest, considering that - Malta is smaller than Luxembourg - Malta can't borrow - it doesn't have really big music industry - it's not a part of the Scandinavian wonder I can't really blame the Maltese HoD for using the same faces again and again... Agree, but more than 1/3 of the Maltese entries were performed by Ira Losco (she took part 5 times and Malta took part 13 times)  and ESC NSs aren't that original either imo Slovakia was represented 4 of 16 times by Celeste Buckingham while being around 20 times larger in terms of population, so... And don't forget that like 100 non-Ira/non-MESC songs have already been suggested 1000 times I can't blame him after the incredible success of his only non-MESC or Ira Losco entry in last editions  after all "Shouldn't Have to Bother" won the NS against (once again) non-MESC songs and he didn't have a single MESC song in his last two NSs. So you might hope for the best |
