MOLDOVA: "We've found our entry!"
Yesterday has been an exciting evening for  Moldova and the entirety of Europe,
as the small country between  Romania and  Ukraine finally selected its entry
via the national selection AVEM 03.

Surprisingly, the Ukrainian-Moldovan singer SONYA KAY has won the selection
with her rather alternative song "OBNIMI MENYA", performed in Russian.
The second place (getting only roughly 150 votes less in the gold final) was Tany Vander and her song "Take Me Away".
Third ( Tanya German) and fourth place ( Nicoleta Nuca) were eliminated early on.

 The Irish Entrant(s) has been announcedDuring a half hour show that broadcast on RTE One, the song and artist(s) that will be representing Ireland in Brussels. The show also featured a live performance by Celtic Woman and Phildel (the Irish representatives in the 17th and 10th editions) who also gave advice to the representatives of 18 for their Northvision journey.

Shane Filan and Nadine Coyle - 'I Could Be' Both are extremely experienced performers, having both been members of successful pop-groups, and then obtained successful solo careers. Now they have decided to combine their unique talents into the fantastic 'I Could Be', an uplifting pop song describing two people who find each other when they needed it most. Nadine was interviewed on the show about the decision for her to represent the country and said the following "I've always thought of myself as Irish, despite the fact I'm technically from Northern Ireland.
