LITHUANIA CONFIRMS ! Right after the confirmations opened LRT has revealed that  Lithuania will participate in the Northvision Song Contest #18 !
It was also revealed that Northvizijos #02 will return as National Selection for this edition (the first edition was in #16). The national selection will be a collaboration between LRT & DELFI.lt wich means the selection will have a bigger and better format

 Hungary confirms their participation in the upcoming edition. The method for choosing the song is still unknown. Members of the delegation think about internally selecting an artist then do a poll which song he/she would perform, another part of the delegation supports the idea of a selection while a few people think they know the song which would do well in their opinion so their wish is to internally select artist,song. |

The head of the Algerian delegation, Mikhail Al-Sivan, gave an official statement:We're looking forward to the semi-final results of the 17th edition. It's not excluded that our next participation will depend of the results. For now I can't give an official announcement yet.It has also been rumored in several non-official sources that there might be held a national selection in case if the country participates.
