After the long show, the representative of Italy in Brussels was announced. There were some exciting moments in the show, with Carlo Conti praising the chosen artist.
There wasn't much build-up for tonight, due to the fact that Italy released few details prior to the show. However, the reveal was streamed live on YouTube, which had a climax of 4,000 viewers.
Despite Sanremo being held, the winners, Stadio, did not head to NVSC. The peak viewership for Sanremo was 13,151,273, which decreased to 8,123,493 during the reveal of the entry.
