I withdraw (unless a win in #6 occurs obvs, which I can't see happening though). My return in the future is possible but a bit unlikely though. The reason is not that I can't do well here, but more the small music industry of earlier years.

Austrian entry
This song is the winner song of a casting show we had in 2003 (Starmania, smth like Pop Idol etc.), unfortunately he couldn't build up a longer career afterwards. Christina Stürmer came 2nd in that edition btw and is still very successful, so another example it's not always about winning It's the first time I send something more "modern" = my first entry from the 00s. Let's see how it will do

The reason is not that I can't do well here, but more the small music industry of earlier years. I'm confused at such statements (you're not the only one). Everyone who has said that is from a much bigger country then mine and I have decided entries until at least #15. So I find it really hard to believe your music industry was small hmm. Unless you want world hits - which you probably have way more than half of the countries participanting. Now I kinda see the reason why such contest didn't exist before lel. Anyway, you're welcome to come back

Just my two cents on this topic: If you're willing to participate and interested, you'll find something. Nobody can tell me there's been no music released in a country between let's say 1970 and 2005. Especially as songs from 2000-2005 are allowed too, everyone should be able to find something. Of course if you only want competitive entries, many if not most of us couldn't take part I guess. If one dislikes older music, it's makes more sense to me, but also older music exists in so many genres and varieties (I notice it every edition here) that I couldn't really agree with that argument either.

Morocco has better music back then, then nowadays So the exceptions exsist Morocco confirms obvs Keep doing the good work Laurinda

As UMK16 is starting soon, I decided to send a song that is in my opinion the most robbed song in our NF's. Nightwish - Sleepwalker (3rd place in 2000)
