Kazakhstan debuts! Dilnaz Akhmadieva- Ty Menya Bolshe Ne Uvidish (my Russian is pretty floppy, in case if it's something wrong in the title, be free to correct me ) (0:54) A 1998 classic which was overplayed as hell in Kazakhstan I can't deny I love this one a lot Also this song was the first song I've listened to her, before actually to adore her music few years later, when the famous "Zolotoy" became a major hit.

This Slovenian entry is from 1976. The oldest so far. I picked it because they remind me of ABBA lel and I love the lyrics. Pepel in kri - Čuj deklica (Listen Girl) English lyrics Listen girl! I'm so alone and I always think about you, all days about you, live only in dreams for you, I'd like to tell you, I only live for you, if you'll ever come.
If you would come. I'd find the right words for you and look into you, my eyes would shine, then I'd say quietly, like for myself, did you really come?
I put my head in your hair, this night without fear, all night long you were with me, why only in my dream, my dream?

Regarding the topic of countries with smaller music industries, I pretty much agree with ferrygraf that practically every country has something. All of today's music stems from some old school music somewhere otherwise they wouldn't exist. For fabbi , not all singers are spring chickens so I'm sure there must be some Swiss artists today that had hits from the 60's or so. Plus the first ever winner from ESC was from Switzerland and I'm sure many singers that represented in Eurovision has had some other great hits perhaps. Plus, it's the taking part that counts would be cool to hear some old Swiss folk or something .
