The situation with  is actually quite complex. I can fully understand Boyan08 who wants the country to be called Macedonia, but on the other side there are Greek users who would find that an insult. So, no matter how you call the country, there will always be people who strongly disagree with it, which makes this a hard situation to deal with for the hosts. Maybe we could go with 'Republic of Macedonia', to make sure that the Greeks won't see it as 'their region', and the Macedonians aren't always reminded to a bad episode in their history. |

I'd prefer to follow the EBU on this case, since that way is accepted by all the people who watch ESC. And I think it is a "happy medium" (stupid google translate) to use FYR, since this gives both parties a bit of what they want. It is quite complicated though, have to agree with that.  |
