 The Winter 2016 FIHF World Cup Drawing was held live on Thursday in the  Norfort Convention Centre in Norfort, determining which teams will be in which group.
Decoria the host, was automatically seeded the Group A and seed A1. The rest of the draw was done randomly. Here are the results of the draw. SCHEDULEThe Hockey World Cup will start this Saturday, with the opening match of Decoria going against  Prunia. Here is how the planned scheduling will be followed:

DAY 1 RESULTS - GROUP A & BThe Winter Cup has begun, with the Host Decoria going against Prunia in Group A, and last season's winner U.S of Eldance going against U.I of Ermy in Group B. Other matches included Angostura against Assasynia, & Ice Crest against Flรญrskmasto. 3 out of 4 games were sold in the 1st day.
GROUP A - DAY 1 RESULTSGroup A opening match as mentioned was Decoria going against Prunia in what seem to be an easy match for Decoria, Prunia was the first to score but failed to keep up it's success by letting Decoria score 3 unanswered goals. Prunia tried to get some momentum by scoring a goal with 4 mins left but couldn't score another one in time to tie up the game. After that match was Angostura against Assasynia, this game was a very close one with Assasynia being the first to score in the game twice in the 1st period, with Angostura returning back two goals as well in the 1st & 2nd Period, Assasynia scored a couple minutes later to get back a short lead. And as previously Angostura tied the the game once again in the 3rd. No one score in the rest of regulation bringing it to OT. A minute into Overtime and Assasynia scores a goal for the win. 
GROUP 2 - DAY 1 RESULTS
The opening match for Group 2 was U.S of Eldance against U.I of Ermy, the game didn't prove any challenge for the Eldance as it shutted out the Ermy team with 5 goals to none. Eldance had 66 shots in total, while the Ermy team only had 12. The Ermy team had more defense compared to offense. While the Eldance team had more puck possession.
After that match was Ice Crest against Flรญrskmasto, the game seem to have a smooth start with both of them scoring a goal, until the 17th minute of the game when the Flรญrsks scored a goal after the tying goal from Ice Crest, the Flรญrsks scored 1 goal after the tie in the 1st, and then 2 more in the 2nd, and 1 more in the 3rd. Ice Crest had the last goal scoring in the 57th minute.  DAY 2 MATCHES - GROUP C & D

DAY 2 RESULTS - GROUP C & DGroup C & D have started their first official game day. In total 4 matches as usual 2 per group. In Group C it was Fordia vs The White Havens, & Evergreen vs Pacifica. In Group D it was United Lands of Jarea vs Maronesia, & Cercasia vs Baesnia
GROUP C - DAY 2 RESULTSGroup B opened with Fordia vs The White Havens, the match was a very tight one with each being tied 1-1 until the 53rd minute of the game, Patrice Bergeron scored the winning goal and was his 2nd in the night which helped the Fordia tied & win the game as well!
The other match was the newcomers Evergreen vs Pacifica, just like the other Group B game it was leaning towards a Pacifica win, but once it was the 50th minute Evergreen had a quite big push to score two goals to tie the game, and bring to overtime. Unfortunately Evergreen didn't score another one while Pacifica did and won the game in overtime with a goal by the MVP of the game Vladimir Tarasenko scored a hat-trick(3 goals) for the Pacifican team. 
GROUP D - DAY 2 RESULTS
The Group D opening match was Jarea vs Maronesia, and it seem like deja vu looking at the score because it was just like the Group B opening match, with the game ending 5-0 for a quite amazing Jarea win with Ryan scoring 4 times in the game!
The other match of the night in Group D was Cercasia vs Baesnia, in what was expected to be an easy match for the Cercasian team, ended the opposite with Baesnia winning 1-4 in an unexpected win for the mix Eldance-Baesnian team.

DAY 3 RESULTS - GROUP E & FGroup E & F have now started their first official game day. In total 4 matches. In Group E it was Evรคmaa vs De Vremdspongeln, & United Tribes of Te Ao vs Lakadamia. In Group F it was Lanovina vs Onduria, & Pohunskia vs Scandavia.
GROUP E - DAY 3 RESULTSGroup E opened with Evรคmaa vs De Vremdspongeln. These two teams last met in the Autumn World Cup Group Stage with Evรคmaa winning 1-0 last season. As again the match was a very close one with Evรคmaa winning 4-3, the MVP for the game was Pacioretty who scored 3 goals.
The other match of the night was United Tribes of Te Ao vs Lakadamia, it was Lakadamia's first hockey match in the the tournament, so Te Ao was expected to win. The game was neck in neck until the 55th minute when the Lakadamian Boychuck score the game winning goal, for a successful debut for the Lakadamia team. Matt Martin was the MVP assisting 2 goals for Laka.  GROUP F - DAY 2 RESULTS
The Group D opening match was Lanovina vs Onduria, the Ondurian score early in the game and was holding a 1-0 lead which is quite impressive against the strong Lanovina team. But until the 54th minute Kucherov scored the tying score which help Lanovina reach an overtime. The overtime game was a back and forth passing until the Lanovinan Boyle scored the winning game, the MVP the game was the Lanovian goalie Ben Bishop.
The other match of the night in Group D was Pohunskia vs Scandavia, is a rematch from last seasons Group B opening match, and the first goal was scored by Scandavian Vrbata in the 35th minute. The lead didn't last quite long when the 3rd Period started when Pohunskian team score 3 unanswered goals in the 40th minute & 49th minute. The Scandavian team didn't want to back down so the Scandavia team scored 2 more goals to tie up the game and bring it to overtime! Nothing special happened in overtime, so we went into the first shootout game of the season! It was miss or saves 5 times in a row until the hero of the game Gustav Nyquist scores the goal to win the game!

DAY 4 RESULTS - GROUP A & BGroup A & B continue their way to the playoffs. A moment of silence was held during all the matches due to the recent events that happened in Fantasia especially when it impacted 2 countries that are taking part in this tournament. In Group A it was Decoria vs Angostura, & Assasynia vs Prunia. In Group B it was United States of Eldance vs Ice Crest, & Flรญrskmasto vs United Islands of Ermy.
GROUP A - DAY 4 RESULTSThe first match was with Decoria vs Angostura. The Angosturan team started with a strong start scoring the first goal in the 19th second by Duchene. Angostura scored another one in the beginning of the 2nd having a 2-0 lead, the Decorian team answered 8 mins later with two goals in the 32nd & 39th minute by Fisher & Wilson tying the game up in the end of the 2nd period. In the beginning of the 3rd period Decoria score a shorthanded goal by Forsberg which was the winning and only goal in the 3rd. The MVP was Wilson who scored the tying goal.
The other match of the night for Group A was Assasynia vs Prunia, in this game the shots were even at 39. But the goals are what matter. Prunia was the first to score at the 2nd minute by Johansson. Assasynia answered back in the last minute of the 1st period with a goal by Thornton. The Prunian team scored 2 goals in the 2nd period with goals by Brouwer & Ward. The Prunian team is taking a 3-1 lead in the 3rd Period, but extends it with one last goal in 50th by a goal by Fehr. The MVP was the Prunian goalie Braden Holtby.  PLAYOFF ADVANCEMENT Decoria - Has advanced to the playoffs due to the 3rd place not being able to catch up to it.
1 or 2 spots remain in this group for the playoffs. GROUP B- DAY 4 RESULTS
The first match of Group B of the night was United States of Eldance vs Ice Crest. In respect to the deaths in the SUD flight, Eldance has decided to wear Black & White as their jersey. The Ice Crest team were the first ones to score in the game by a goal from Moulson in the 1st minute. The Eldance team didn't let that lead last long as they scored 17 seconds later with a goal by Kane. The rest of the 1st Period was scoreless. Eldance dominated the 2nd Period scoring 4 goals in 22nd Min. (Keith), 28th Min. (Saad), 29th Min. (Toews), 39th Min (Versteeg) and none for Ice Crest. In the 3rd period there was only 1 goal by Toews, who is also the MVP.
The other match of the night in Group B is Flรญrskmasto vs United Islands of Ermy. And also in respect to the deaths in the SUD flight, Flรญrskmasto has decided to wear Black & White as their jersey. Ermy were the first to score with 18 seconds on the clock by Doan. The Flirsk team didn't let Ermy have a 1st period lead as the Flirsk team score 2 goals after by Hemsky(3min) & Spezza(17 min). Nothing special happened in the 2nd period. In the 3rd period Fiddler scored in the 46th min for Flirksmasto. 3 mins later Boedker score in the 49th minute for Ermy. That joy didn't last long for Ermy as Roussel score a minute later for Flirksmasto ending the game. The MVP was Jason Speeza.  PLAYOFF ADVANCEMENT
