PRESENTS
FORMAT
The format will stay the same as the previous one for providing a different and original way of selection.
FIRST ROUND
Ten songs will participate in the first round. Four songs with the most points out of the ten in the first round will pass to the second round. Voting in the first round will be with the normal Northvision style.
SECOND ROUND - "GOLD FINAL"
In the second round, known as Gold Final, the song which will recieve the most points between the four superfinalists wins the competition and has the right to represent Norway in North Vision Song Contest. Voters in the second round have to share 10.000 points between the four songs.
Only users that have the right to vote in NVSC #18 will be able to vote in the selection.
HoD & Co-HoD votes will be combined as one.
Non-participants and associate broadcasters votes will count as the Rest of the World.
The shows will be held again in Valhall Arena.
Katrine Moholt with Didrik Solli Tangen will be the hosts once again.

NRK revealed the 10 participating artists in a video along with a small teaser of the participating songs.
