Italian Entry Italy will obviously take part in this next special edition too (I can't believe we've already closed the first decade of this Contest which brought so much joy and good results to Italy). However, this time our entry is a song back from 1992 (my year of bith and yeah, I'm feeling a little bit old between all of you ). The song won the Newcomers Section of Sanremo Festival in the same year and became a worldwide hit. I'm talking about Aleandro Baldi ft. Francesca Alotta - "Non Amarmi"[ 1:48 - onwards ]If you want, you can even check their performance in Sanremo (in the spoiler)

Don't speak is from 1996? Seems like I missed something as I always put it in 1998 tbh. Even I really like it (and give it likely ) I would have preferred something less known for once. I was shocked myself. It's from their 1995 album Tragic Kingdom, and the single was released in April 1996.

Are you adding the years to the recap pictures design? That'd be nice to focus the special edition's theme

Croatia confirms. I was born in 1994. I am not old. Oldness is a state of mind. But, I wish I was able to do things my peers do. Nevertheless, I was very doubting about the song I am supposed to choose for this contest. Both are from one band called "Parni valjak" - one of the most famous rock bands in ex-Yugoslavija, founded in Zagreb, Croatia. Both songs are recorded in 1994. It will be song called "Ljubavna" (Love song), huge hit still across Serbian-Croatian language speaking countries. I would like time slot to be from 2:21 if possible. There is a studio version too, just search the google if you like this live one. But, this live one was recorded on their tour in Zagreb in 2005. Nevertheless, this is very emotional song, and I would like you to feel (if possible) emotions that are going through this song, so that's the reason I decided to send live version. You can see mass of people singing alltogether with Parni Valjak. Good luck to all of you. Here you can find translations lyricstranslate.com/en/ljubavna-love-song.html-0

So I did a bit of research, surprisingly I found that A LOT of good songs I knew are from my year I didn't even have to look for the 2 years around it, and maybe in the future I send 1 or 2 more from that year Either way, THE ENTRY IS: Sentidos Opuestos - Fiesta (1998) Timeslot: 1:54 - 2:18 I decided to use this song because the lyrics kind of fit that I was born in that year: Unete a la fiesta, unete a la fiesta, baila con la gente y mueve la caderaJoin the party, join the party, dance with the people and move your hipsSo yeah, I joined the party that year I guess Good Luck everyone Also I can't believe that until now (with te already submitted entries) I'm the youngest one here

IDK if this will be accepted so i want to ask to Laurinda first
See they are Dominican but they lived in Venezuela during their musical carreer as duo, until Papo died... The song and video was made in Venezuela you can even hear at 2:13 "Me levanta la mano mi gente de Venezuela" or in English "Rise up your hands my people from Venezuela"
The song is from 1997 and i was born in 1998

extralargeswitzerlanddiamond Harry Hasler - Saletti extralargeswitzerlanddiamond Picture1996 - The year of Macarena and Coco Jamboo. And also that one song. As you can hear it's totally not serious. Harry Hasler is (or was) a character of a satirist. That one song became very successful (top 10 in the year-end-charts in 1996 and higher than very popular songs such as Gangsta's paradise, The earth-song or Wannabe - just to mention a few).
