Due to the great result in the previous edition by Vesala and the still high interest of the public for the contest, Finland will most definitely participate in the following edition in Italy!
However, due to budget cuts, the song for the next edition will probably be chosen internally.

LBC unveils biggest song search ever for the 19th Lebanese entryBeirut, Lebanon - The LBC has announced its biggest ever North Vision song search as the process for finding a song to represent the Lebanon at the North Vision Song Contest #19 is revealed. This year, working with partners, the LBC wants to provide as many routes into the selection process as possible, whether amateur, professional or superstar.

After a run of disappointing failures in the semi's for Lebanon in the contest, the LBC have decided to change the entire process for selecting their entry for Italy. The key changes are as follows:
- An open submission process will take place. The LBC is inviting anyone over the age of 18 to submit a video of their original song for consideration. The video does not have to be professionally shot and the audio production can be a demo โ but it must be sung live by the artist who would be performing the song in Italy. Details of how to enter can be found at lbcgroup.tv/northvision. The closing date for submissions is Saturday 7 May 2016.
- The LBC recognises that the fan community is a very important element of the North Vision Song Contest. As such, the LBC will be inviting the Lebanese branch of the OGAN to assist in the shortlisting of these open entries. The OGAN is the largest independent North Vision fan club in the world and its Lebanese branch has around 1,000 members.
Songs from all routes of entry will be included in a final shortlist, which will be presented to a professional panel and the public, who will have the final say on which song is taken forward to represent the Lebanon at the North Vision Song Contest in Italy in June. More details regarding this will be announced in due course.

Will there even be a PQR tho ? I think only San Marino is left to confirm and if it does, we'd have 48 countries = 21 in each semi so a PQR is not needed (imo)
