 Several Bids Announced
 Milan, Livorno, Turin, Rome & Florence, Italy
The Bidding Phase has officially kicked off, and five cities are announcing
their bid to be one of the three cities hosting the contest. All five
have already sent in their official application to the NBU, their municipality, region, as well as to RAI. MilanMediolanum Forum

 Milan is the second most populous city in Italy, and is one of the main capitals of the
fashion and design industry. It has several airports nearby meaning that
fans of the contest will find it easy to travel to Milan should it get the bid.
Livorno
PalaLivorno
8000 Livorno is the capital of the Livorno Province, and has decided to use the Italian name of
their city for their bid, giving that the English name of Livorno is Leghorn. It is situated in the
picturescue region of Tuscany and offers a nice alternative for NVSC fans.
Turin
Pala Alpitour/Palasport Olimpico
16000 Turin boasts the largest capacity amount of any venue in Italy. Turin is often
referred to as the capital of the Alps. Turin has a vibrant city life culture, but make sure
to bring your shades, as it gets up to a mere 24°C in June!
Rome

12200 Rome is the capital of Italy, and boasts excellent facilities, especially in transport links.
The city is over two thousand years old, and it certainly expresses its bid in a thrilling way. Rome shows
off its many excellent tourist sites and fantastic architecture to boot. Several fans wanted an inter-continetal
contest held alongside  Bangkok, due to the popular NVSC 16 of Italy, however, RAI have described
the idea as rather "poshwosh"...
Florence
Nelson Mandela Forum
7500 Florence has decided to enter the Nelson Mandela Forum into the bidding
phase. It has the lowest capacity of all the bids announced thus far, however, Florence has a flourishing
history and cultural background which would make Florence gain significant tourist revenues should NVSC
bring it to the spotlight. Temperatures in Florence are excepted to reach in excess of 30 degrees, but there
will be no degree that will separate Florence from the heart of Italy.
