 More information The Russian entry will be selected internally, we can official announce that the representative will be a Woman! She has never participated before for Russia in the contest, neither in a national Selection. The artist will be revealed soon, also the song. Stay tuned! Also the Russian delegation said that it wasn't ruled out that there will be a selection in the future. But not this time, the artist which is chosen didn't want to be a NS and we have agreed on that. |

 HOST CITIES AND HOSTS REVEALED RAI HQ, Rome, Italy
RAI held a Press Conference on Wednesday, 18 May, concerning the nineteenth edition of the
North Vision Song Contest. The Italian Head of Delegation, alongside the head of RAI,
and Elisa were the hosts of the conference.
 RAI have deliberated with all the host cities, and we have come to the conclusion that
our best three options are the following.
Semi-Final One will be hosted at the Palasport di Genoa in Genoa.
Semi-Final Two will be hosted at the Mediolanum Forum in Milan.
The Final will be hosted at Pala Alpitour in Turin.
Initially, the plan was for Livorno-Florence-Rome, however, that fell through due to the arena not being available during the hosting dates. 
The Press Conference also announced the hosts of the competition.
Today, we are also here to announce the hosts of the competition. I would like to welcome Sabrina Impacciatore, Federico Russo and Alessio Bernabei to the stage, to answer your questions.
Before you, the press, ask your questions, here is a little bit of information on the hosts.
Federico Russo is a nineteen-year-old presenter and actor, who is one of the youngest ever hosts of the contest. He has impeccable English, and has already hosted famous Italian shows such as The Voice.
Sabrina Impacciatore is an Italian actress and comedian, who plans on making many jokes throughout the contest. Her English is rather good, although with a noticeable Italian accent.
Alessio Bernabei represented Italy at North Vision 13, placing twentieth in the final with his band Dear Jack. He is now looking for a career in hosting. His English is passable.
Several other people in the running to be a host were Francesca Michielin, Elisa, Carlo Conti and Paolo Ruffini.
"Alessio, hi, this is Vivi from Vivivloggs. I want to ask about what made you decide to host the contest, a
transition from singing to presenting is a massive one. By the way, you slay the pack."
- Alessio: "Yes, this is a big choice for me, but I pleased with it. I hope you all like our hosting. Sorry for my English!"
"Hello, I am Ivi from nvscExtra, I want to ask Federico about his acting career, and if he has any plans after the contest."
- Federico: "Yes, of course I have plans. *laughs* I will try to be my own hero in a new action film
being released early next year. I am also one of the youngest ever hosts, but my career is already action packed. I am so grateful for these opportunities given to me by RAI."
"Privet everybody, I am Michael from NVSCKaz. My question is actually to the Head of Delegation. Why are you making so many changes to the contest? Imagine if we had a different winner under the new system, can we say that third place is the real winner under the old system? Why did you implement these changes?
