TNV confirms its participation at the forthcoming NorthVision Song Contest!
Yesterday TNV hold a press conference in order to discuss future plans and to reveal the upcoming projects of TNV where the NorthVision Song Contest was also being mentioned. The general director announced: "We can confirm that Turkey is going to participate at the forthcoming NorthVision Song Contest. The mechanism to select the entry will be Turkish Popstar. We are currently searching for songs to compete but we can guarantee that a great line-up is awaiting you." |

News from  Hungary. TV2 revealed that they wouldn't want to host another national selection again. Indeed they want to internally select the song. They already know the possible song. Darabokra torted a szivem pls ♥ |

 Kazakhstan confirms for NVSC #19!Astana, Kazakhstan ― Once again it comes with no surprise that  Kazakhstan confirms their participation for the contest. After the Kazakh qualification to the grand final last night in Brussels, Kazakhstan will now be in the final for the 6th time in a row.
"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to participate in the North Vision Song Contest and we have no plans of withdrawing," said Kazakh HoD, Mark, "So thus, Kazakhstan will confirm once again, and hopefully make it to the final for the 7th time in a row this edition."
NTK has also revealed that the Äwenfestïvali will remain the Kazakh selection for NVSC, with no major format changes.
"It has a 100% qualification rate and has produced some of our best scoring entries. I don't see why we should not opt for a national selection once again," said Mark.

As mentioned, it will include no major format changes, which means there will once again be 10 songs (including a foreign act) and two semi-finals and a second chance round.
The semi-finals and pre-qualification round will once again be broadcast from the Kazakh Sports Palace in Astana, and the final will be held in the Astana Arena, also in Astana, which has the capacity of 30,000 people and also hosted the 14th edition of the North Vision Song Contest.

  Sweden confirms for #19!SVT has just confirmed Sweden's ongoing participation in the North Vision Song Contest!
The Head of Delegation, Jan Björkman, said:
"As the interest within our country does not seem to be decreasing,
there has been no hesitation to confirm for the edition.
Though, after long meetings, it was decided that - despite the bomb threat -
the old format of Fantasifestivalen would return to determine the Swedish entry.
All the entries have already been chosen and the shows are going to be observed by more police and security!" |
