[April Fools' Day] Presenting: The NVSC Forums!

We've originally planned to have these changes done after the current edition, however,
we decided to implement the new layout on the first day of the month because it looks more
even and organised, more like "a fresh new start".
Moreover we want to start the full NVSC 19 season with the new forum structure
fully ready

Well, there hasn't been any exact confirmation that this is not the April 1st's joke yet (Actually it would fit perfectly because of several reasons, I mean, the interviews for instance )

Either way, the design is good, that's something we can't deny.
About the whole idea, I get what you're doing, which is nice and at the same time a bit risky, I don't participate in the NVSC and I'm not THAT interested either (I know I'm on the waiting list, but still I've only visited that board like 5 times, and either way it'll take years for me to be able to join) but it doesn't bother me at all to do one more click to get in the contests where I'm in.

The only negative point I find here is that the other contests won't be like in the spotlight anymore, it's kind of unfair for the hosts to have their contests called ''Spin-offs'' of the NVSC, they have their own concept and they put a lot of work into them to just call them ''the other contests'', even the bigger ones that were on the first page already (even if they're not as half professionally made as NVSC).

First of all, I shall admit the design is nice and very vivid!

However, as an idea I am not really fond of it. It is true that the NorthVision Song Contest was dominating the forums, meaning that it had the most threads and posts than any other online contest, however changing the Song Contest forums to a forum whose point of interest is the NVSC is rather discriminating if you ask me. No, the NorthVision Song Contest is NOT the point of interest of the whole community and as a contest manager, it doesn't sound nice to me that my contest has become obsolete because I personally know it keeps running and it's active with a significant number of players as well. Moreover, it's now harder for any guest looking for a good online contest to take part to find us through the forums, as instead of having the thread for my contest on home page, it will be hidden somewhere else.

I don't know, I feel like I have mixed emotions about it. I don't really expect my opinion to be well-liked or even heard to be honest but I just felt like stating it...

I don't know if it's a joke for A P R I L    F O O O L ' S Day (hopefully it is) but if not, then here is my opinion (might be needed in case you are planning to do that change btw).

It's obviously a joke(idk why but I felt that at several points in the first post). Just like last years (or the year before idk anymore) announcement that Nvsc closes. I remember a little discussion somewhere and it being turned down (correct me please if that's wrong).
Design-wise I can't say a lot because I'm on phone now and it's always a little different as we all know. The colour change of the names is mainly confusing me tbh.
However even I don't like the change (78% is a lot though) I find it good that the first page isn't that messy anymore (that might be the only thing though).

Btw. I like the expression "agreement between the forum staff and council" because that's the same people (with the difference of 1 person or so).
