As the forum staff thought that all of the other contests became obsolete,
it was decided that the other music competitions will be moved to a secondary board.
I think this is where the joke is the clearest. Seriously, if the stats are actually truth, this is like giving the middle finger to 30% of the whole forum, which someone in his common sense would do as a manager. +1 Especially as all the others are called "obsolete" and are just "moved away".

Harhar really funny  Anyway, if this is not a joke (which it 99% is) this is just bad and disrespectful to all other contests. In that case I will definitely leave and never get back here again. It is stupid and belittling towards contests which have their own idea and are in some cases older than your beloved NVSC. Even if it is a joke it really shows bad taste. Imo this shows the major problem of this community: the inequality between NVSC-members and other members. Guys, this forums is not only yours, and where do you get the f*cking arrogance from to make this move, even if a joke. This feeling of superiority (probably not conscious, at least I hope so) has been bothering me for a while, and this incident really made me want to speak out. Anyway, happy April's Fools. This fool will start thinking about his future here. I think you took it a bit too serious. I completely understand what you mean. And yes Nvsc has taken over a bit too much (this should'nt be a hate speech over it btw). But everybody who is part of Nvsc is also taking part in at least one of the smaller ones. |

Id write a long post about how I like it but itd just be repeating what everyone else said so I'm good  But maybe bring the NVSC subforums to the front? The front seems kinda empty at the moment (on my phone though so I don't know). Or it's an April Fool.  |

I doubt this is a joke for some reason, may be completely wrong though... There is a difference between writing a single post, and changing the whole forums. I don't think all this work would have been done for a joke. Anyway I personally bother the most on the expression 'Spin-Offs' which is simply not true. Hardly a contest has been made as a 'spin-off' but as a contests on it's own. EVSC and JNVSC and those regional NVSC contests are the only spin-offs, as they are created in connection with NVSC.  Hope never dies and maybe it was only a joke as most people here expect |

Excuse me, but it had to be said. If a person feels the desire to leave the forums, no one is going to stop them but him-/herself. Just let the day pass and see if it was a joke or not. Gosh, a few people feel entitled to display their self-pity on the internet once there's a joke here and there on April Fools Day. |

I won't say anything as I'm still oblivious to whether this is a joke or not, but if it isn't and the forums are being renamed I think it's rude to call all other contests obsolete. It's degrading to other contests if you ask me.
