  NEXT EVÄMAIAN ARTIST DECIDED?MIDIMERI - Unexpected news today broke on  Evämaa's leading FC fansite Eväfantasia that the country's next artist had been chosen already! According to the article, Telemaa returned control of the selection process to Telemaa A after the country's current entry, Fly High! was tipped to fail to qualify from the third semi-final of FC 4.
The article went on to state that Telemaa A brought in a new head of delegation to replace Niko Floppinen as he moved to a new position within the broadcaster. The new Evämaian HoD is reported to be Launo Pätevöityä, an independent recording manager. It is crucial to mention that this is all unconfirmed news as of now and that Telemaa has failed to comment yet.
Meanwhile, the Evämaian public hasn't expressed much interest in the contest this edition. Especially after qualifying for the first time last edition, the Telemaa bosses are reported to be concerned with viewing figures for this edition, and have started contacting some bigger names on the domestic scene to represent Evämaa at the fifth edition.
Some of the names mentioned include the huge indie rock band Softengine, pop sensation originally hailing from  Lakadamia Namie Amuro, and even the Queen of Evämaian Pop, Jenni Vartiainen!
The only confirmed news from Telemaa so far is that the selection will most likely be internal. |

RUMORS ARE ONGOING ABOUT THE TEAOAN ENTRY

Although there is still no official confirmation from the Westmontian country, fan-sites and many 'experts' doubt highly that the country will withdraw, and are already starting rumors about who will go to FC #5.
While the third semi-final of the fourth edition is about to start, the odds are going to one specific Teaoan singer. It is a female, hailing from the capital city Concilium, who is currently 31 years old. She sings soul music (typical for the Teaoan music industry) as well as R&B, Jazz and Blues. She began her career in 2015, where she released her first single(s) and a first album. Her best charting single in her home country missed the top 100 very closely, having place 101 as it's highest position.
UBOTA still refuses to state anything officially before the second semi-final, yet many people involved in the selection process have given hints that lead towards the previously described artist, so a confirmation of both the artist and the confirmation is just a matter of time.

 Atlandia to hold another edition of ART FESTIVAL!

Today  Atlandian Radio Television ( ART) has held a press conference in which the national broadcaster has revealed their plans to hold another edition of ART FESTIVAL in order to choose the nation's entry for the fifth edition of Fantasia Contest.  After our first national selection winners have brought us 9th place and PVRIS, the winners of last edition of ART FESTIVAL, have recently qualified for the grand final, we decided to keep this format for the upcoming fifth edition!  During the conference it was stated that this edition will have smaller number of participants and the first ones will be revealing very soon through their Rawr account. The two confirmed participants include debuting Leowan singer LÉON and Atlandian singer Meg Mac. It is possible that these two will be the only ones competing. The announcement has confirmed rumours spread by FCleaks.at after Atlandian confirmation, saying that ART is looking for a Leowan artist to represent the nation. |

TELEMAA: ARTIST CHOSENMIDIMERI - Upon delivering the Evämaian votes to the FBU for the third semi-final of FC #4, Telemaa finally responded to the rumors broken by Eväfantasia earlier this week. First of all, it was confirmed that ex-HoD Niko Floppinen had vacated his position and Launo Pätevöityä was his replacement. The new head of delegation released a statement:Later in the day at the Telemalo, Telemaa's campus in Midimeri, a press conference was held where Evämaa's entrant for Fantasia Contest #5 was revealed! Pätevöityä made good on his word and introduced the media to what will hopefully be a big new name in Evämaian pop! The Evämaian artist is: SHURA!
Shura, originally Aleksandra Denton, is a 23 year-old singer from Värepaikan, Nyvina. Half-Flírsk, half-Decorian, Shura's family settled in Evämaa when she was young, and since then, she's been making a name for herself on the Evämaian indie circuit.
Her entry hasn't been revealed yet (obviously), but it will be off of her first album. When asked about the choice, Pätevöityä said that "It only felt right to reward her with this honor. We've heard the song and we think that she has a chance to take Evämaa to new heights. We can't wait to reveal it."
Evämaa's song will most likely be revealed the day after the final results of Fantasia Contest #04 are released. Has the artist been revealed for Alkyria? In the midway of Fantasia Contest #4, where Charlie qualified in the final, the Alkyrian HoD has made just recently a press conference related to the Alkyrian representative in FC #5. Needless to say, the artist was between a drag queen or a normal act. In the end, the decision was made."It won't be a drag queen representing this edition. During a mess-up situation, RuPaul has decided to make the All Stars season too, so, untill we don't know the original cast (16 at number), all the drag queens in Alkyria are unavailable to participate in Fantasia Contest. The tradition will be most likely moved untill #10, yet any drag queen which is interested to go earlier in the contest is always welcomed. But at this point, she needs all the drag queens to make the casting call." - stated Yvonne Zackhari, the Alkyrian HoD. So, during this entire speech, the entrants have been revealed. Ladies, gentlemans and drag queens (oops, equalty much), meet: HOLYCHILD! Holychild (small caps, big caps, however you want to spell them, idk) is a Ruyjinese-Alkyrian duo formed by Louie Diller and Liz Nistico, and they've been chosen as representatives for Alkyria in the upcoming 5th edition. An indie pop duo which raised to fame in both Alkyria and Ruyjin Republic, they're more known in using the irony in their songs, which made their music in the Alkyrian charts more of a "guilty pleasure" type of song and became huge hits in the Ruyjin's music charts.
Louie: "Well, it's interesting we've been chosen so soon. I thought Ruyjin will act up first, but apparently Liz's nation spoke otherwise." Liz: "Well, what shall I say, my nation is unpredictable sometimes. After all, we sent a drag queen and came top 5, can't get more unpredictable and cooler than that." Louie: "So in the end we'll represent two countries or something like that?" Liz: "Maybeeeeeee ~ Well, we won't refuse an offer to return, especially when it's your native country in game. So, Fantasia Contest, you still have place for two more little flops? We promise we'll be nice in the upcoming edition, hehe." Their song will be revealed after the grand final results. In the meanwhile, good luck to Charlie in the final of #4! |
