FTV can confirm that  Freyhurst will once again be present in the next
edition of the Fantasia Contest. At this time, the method of selection has not been
decided yet, however a small national selection has been rumored to take place.

  Vradiazi confirms its participation in Fantasia Contest 05! For this edition, VRIT has been working on a new format to select the artist(s) who will represent the country. This way, it has been revealed that Vradiazi will be hosting the VRADIFEST, its first national selection for Fantasia Contest!

GLARAY TO WITHDRAW?
Many media outlets in Glaray are reporting that the country's participation is in severe jeopardy after dismal viewing figures of last night's Fantasia Contest semi final.
An emergency meeting between board executives was called this morning to address the issue of the contest's viewership before the contest's grand final takes place, and to make decisions on participation in the fifth edition. "Executives are unhappy with the ratings the Fantasia Contest is producing," GTV spokesperson Ella Rossi said in a press statement. "The general consensus is that being such an attractive project, the Fantasia Contest should be attracting far more viewers than it does. This is leading executives to believe the money would be better spent elsewhere." Newspaper Daily Glaray claimed one of the executives on the board went as far as saying "participation is meaningless to us if there is no audience to back it up."
The broadcaster insists Jehona's non-qualification has nothing to do with the possible withdrawal, saying 'Jehona made a valiant effort and we're proud of her.' The semi final drew almost 2 million viewers less than the semi final Glaray competed in last edition. Ratings have declined since the first edition.
A decision will be made at the end of the week.

 GLARAY CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION; WILL HOST A NATIONAL FINAL A press statement released by GTV earlier today has confirmed that Glaray will take part in the fifth edition of the Fantasia Contest, despite media reports suggesting otherwise.It is understood that the structure and leadership of selecting the Glaraian entry at the Fantasia Contest has changed dramatically - funding for the competition was halved, and any decisions on the entry must be approved by GTV's board of executives first. The Glaraian delegation has also expanded from three members to six; it is understood the new delegation members have ties with the entertainment industry.It was decided that a national final would be held to select Glaray's song for the competition, to expose the competition to the public and to spark interest. The selection is named The Song, titled so because of the national selection's format - it is known that there will be two different semi finals - one for established artists, and one for newcomers. The competition was named so because 'at the end of the day, the song is the most important thing' as said by the Head of Delegation.Whilst nothing else around the national selection has been confirmed, it is understood three artists will be announced each day, and the competition will kick off a couple of weeks from now, with further details being released in the weekend. Along with the press statement, the broadcaster announced four competing established artists, and two newcomers. They are:ESTABLISHED ARTISTS LORENZO FRAGOLA

TEAOAN PARTICIPATION AND ARTIST CONFIRMED
THE CONFIRMATION
Today UBOTA TE AO has confirmed that the country will, despite another disappointing Non-Qualification in the fourth edition, participate in the next one.
The HoD stated:
 We indeed had a lack of funds but we fixed it now, and it would be a shame to miss an edition of this amazing contest. We hope to qualify finally, and have chosen a young, talented artist to represent us. 
THE ARTIST
The young Concilian singer Andra Day will represent the country in  tba!
METHOD OF SELECTION
UBOTA TE AO plans on holding a small national selection with a yet-to-be-specified number of her songs.
It will most likely be named "A Song for Andra Day" and be aired as a small show only.
The budget for the selection is low, but the broadcaster is still working on a good NS.
More pieces of information are to come soon!
