All news about Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 will be posted here! Estonia has already confirmed their participation for 2017 and Eesti Laul 2017 will be used once again
to select the Estonian entrant to the contest. Ticket sales have already started, on 5 May.
The grand final date is scheduled for 4 March 2017. |

musicestonia.eu/laulukirjutajate-laager-ii/The application for the songwritter camp is open until 22th August. The camp will be held from 25th until 28th September. Mart Normeti is expecting at least 17 Estonian songwritters and 9 participants from outside (Sweden and UK). The price of the camp is 250€, and according to Mart, the aim is to find 16 songs for Eesti Laul submission period. I hope I translated the most important things correctly.

The period for submitting songs for Eesti Laul is OPEN! The songs can be submitted until 1st November and a new thing this year is that foreign songwritters can apply. |

meh...I have read songwriters everyplace everywhere...but what about "foreign lyricists"? Where and when they will show up?? I am sure that I have lots in my island and in many other places interested in writing some lyrics for an Eurovision song, since "making" music sounds a little bit more complex...

ESCtoday says that the Semi-Finalists for Eesti Laul 2017 will be revealed Nov. 8, which is today at the time of this posting.
