 DAY ONEThe first ever episode of The Hunger Games was opened by shots of the arena. The Kaskenvikja islet is a beautiful small
island located in a lake in Northern Scandavia. On a boat, the hostess Vanessa Griskúr is surrounding the islet which is yet
empty. She will be in this location for the next few weeks until a winner will be found.
 Dramatically, last shots of every team are made before they are brought to the island onrafts, each team with a single one. As the live broadcast is interrupted for advertisement, thecompetitors are brought to their starting positions. In the middle of the island is a round areain which every team has its own starting mark. The live broadcast is continuing and showingthe so called Cornucopia. In its center are several boxes. The viewer is not shown or told whatis inside of them. Each team has the same chances to get to the middle.As the cameras show the competitors one last time, a countdown is started.The first Hunger Games started at exactly 20:00:00WCT on this evening.As the starting signal is given, several teams are immediately using the strategyof fleeing. But several teams are also trying to get to the boxes first to see what is inside.The  Scandavian team, the  Prunian team and  Lanovian teamsare reaching the boxes first. Carmine Paolini and Erik Rangursson aregetting into a fistfight, while the Lanovian team avoids a fight and grabs items outof the boxes first. They obtain a tent and drinking bottles, aswell as packed food and chocolate.The fist fight continues and Erik falls. As the Scandavian team is fleeing,the Prunian team is trying to find items for their good aswell, but the Lanovianteam had taken all of the goods. After a few minutes, all teams are running into the woods.The show is interrupted for another advertisement break. As the show continues, the cameras are concentrating on the  Everish team.The team had been fleeing from the Cornucopia and collected wood to make a fire.They are now trying to find a few stones to light the fire. As they frisk through the woods,they find a box with a lighter inside, aswell as a few blankets.The cameras quickly change to the  Sirenforest team. Kathrine Longsonn had fallen and hurt herself.Her collegue Granfir Nodson is carrying her through the woods.As the dawn sets in, several teams have already built shelters to sleep in.The first goal for many teams was to survive the first night without a scratch.Will they make it?DAY ONE
