RISING STAR 2017 CANCELLED!
Israeli broadcasting unit "Keshet" announced the cancellation of all preparations related to the Israeli NS for  ESC 2017. "Keshet" claimed that there are problems with the schedules, and they hope the NS wouldn't be cancelled next year.
Note: Israel will still, however, be present in ESC this year.
Artist will most probably be chosen internally instead. Therefore, confirmations are now closed. |

Strange, I thought they already started with the auditions. Exacty what I was thinking. There are still 3 months until the shows are supposed to start. I believe there's still hope. Although it's in hefty doubt. |

I have a bizzare dream to represent Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest, and the current system with the "Ha'Kokhav Haba" I probably have no chance, mainly because my music taste is not very popular in Israel. I still hope that one day I'll make it, though I don't really sing well enough  But hey! "The dreams that you dare to dream really do come true"  |
