Right after the results of the Matchday 5 of the Group D, some importants things for the next World Cup, held in September 2016, have been announced, like the host, which will be the very first major competition to be held on two countries !
These two countries ?
Alkyria and 
US EldanceThese two countries, currently 2nd and 4th of the Ranking of Nations on Basketball, are, like
Lakadamia, Basketball Lovers, so that was an obvious choice they would host the World Cup together.Also, a possible open bid would be confirmed for the Third World Cup, which is going to be most probably held in December.
The second biggest change of the World Cup is the numbers of participating countries, which from 24, we will go to...

Countries
30 out of the 55 Countries of the whole world will be able to try to take part on the World Cup, but why trying ? Because also for the first time, there will be qualifications, divided onto a total of 9 Tournaments, of 6 countries in each (apart one which will have 7 Countries). Here is the world map of each tournaments :
Each tournaments, excluding the host(s), the winner of the last World Cup and the winner of the last Olympics Tournament, will give a total of 27 Places for the tournament. For this edition, only the hosts and the winner of the current WC will be AQed for the next competition. So the 27 Places are still available for the moment.

Obviously, your country will not be forced to take part onto the qualifications, but by default, your country is going to participate, but if you post on this thread, and only there, that you doesn't want to see your country competing on the Qualifications, and then getting a possible place on the World Cup, just post on this thread that you doesn't want.
As the current World Cup will end during the next Week, you will have until the 15 July, day of the first match of the qualifications, to write on this thread, any withdrawal after the 15 July will not be counted.
And finally for concluding, something concering the match of the World Cup, you will be able to update your ranking in the ranking of nations, if again, no message given, the changes will be made automatically, depending of your way onto the World Cup. On this point, pleast BE REALISTIC. I will not accept +3 Points (and then climbing to 7/8 as example) to a country which come last on their group. At maximum, I will allow between +0.5 to -1 of difference (even if some exceptions could be made, for the countries which did really amazingly during a WC or an Olympic Tournament).
