AVROTROS Presents... 
Noordvisie Songfestival #2!
10 acts from around The Netherlands will compete to find out which one of them will participate in the North Vision Song Contest #20 and represent The Netherlands. The 10 acts competing are:
Ronde
Within Temptation
Rochelle
Nick & Simon
Dotan
Eva Simons
Dirtcaps ft Tjindjara
Miss Montreal
Martin Garrix
Maan
As you may notice, 5 of these acts have previously competed for either the
or 
in the North Vision already. AVROTROS have decided that to honor the 20th anniversary of NVSC, 5 acts that have all qualified to the final should fight for the chance to compete again, against 5 newcomers to the NVSC scene. These 10 acts will be split into 2 semi finals, with 5 songs each, Newcomers in one Semi, Past Participants in the other.
The top 2 songs from each semi will qualify rechtstreeks naar de finale while the 3rd place song goes to the 2e kans duel, where the winner will be the 5th song in the final. 4th and 5th placings in the semi final are eliminated.
There will be no juries in the semi finals or the duel, however there will be in the final. Just like
AVEM or 
Fantastivalen, consistent voting in the two semi finals and 2nd chance round will put you in the draw to be one of 8 juries in the final. You can only vote if you are the HoD of a delegation or a Co-HoD, but Co-HoDs who do vote will have their votes combined with the nation that they vote with.
