You're allowed to dive for the finish? If that's legal, everyone might as well be doing it for a faster time. But congrats to Bahamas for winning gold anyways.

Ok, Sweden in womens football is getting ridicoulous, they won again just after penalties, this time against Brazil, who beat them 5:1 in the group stage

Yass 5th medal for Belgium and it's a bronze one Also we won the semi final in hockey against The Netherlands with 3-1 so we are assured of at least a and at max a 2x (3x if we win against Argentina) 1x (2x if we lose against Argentina) 2x Total : 5 (6) I know it sounds strange but I am very proud of Belgium this are our best olympics since ages and I hope more great results will follow in the future

Wow. Lavillenie had people booing at him during the pole vault, and even during the damn medal ceremony, just because he tried to beat a Brazilian for the gold. Lavillenie even burst into tears after all this. This makes me so fuken pissed... The fact that adult people are sitting in the audience and booing at athletes to not defeat their athletes. You're not helping your athletes. You're being a bully. Disgusting behavior by the public, imo the OG council should be doing something about this...

In general the Brazilian public was very unfair, during male floor gymnastics they celebrated the mistakes of opponents of "their" Brazilian athletes, at the tennis semi they even booed out Del Potro because they hate Argentina. But as Black Bird (I cba to search the username) said, it's sadly not a just Brazilian problem.

This is becoming the most controversial Olympics ever. It's not like it wasn't expected. They deserve more flops.
