MOLDOVA IS CHASING MEMORIES
Chisinau, Republic of Moldova
Yesterday via the national selection AVEM 21, the country of Moldova
has decided its entrant for the twenty-first eition of North Vision and
the 24th representative artist in an exciting evening with ten acts competing.

The selection ended in a tough three-way race for the crown, in which Tanya German first
succeeded in winning the juries over. Adriana Rusu and Nicoleta Nuca, both being
returning artists for the contest, were being put on the 2nd and 3rd place
respectively.

However, the tides turned as the televoting was setting in, giving the victory
to Nicoleta Nuca - just ahead of Tanya German and Adriana Rusu by minimal points.
Therefore, it has been decided that she will represent Moldova as the pre-qualified
entry in Prague, after finishing 19th in Italy.
This makes her the second returning artist for Moldova.
Her song "Amintiri" (eng.: Memories) is a pop song gaining
recent popularity in Moldova and Romania, being written by Carla's Dreams.
It will be the next entry for Moldova in North Vision Song Contest.
