 2M TV CONFIRMS THE MOROCCAN PRESENCE AT THE NORTH VISION SONG CONTEST 21!
The Moroccan entry will most likely be selected internally, although a national selection might still be held.
We would also like to wish the best of luck to Sindy, our current representative, in the first semi-final, and may she manage to qualify! |

 Austria confirms its participation !
Vienna, August 22nd 2016: Cholien Julianmann, HoD of Austria, announced that Austria will compete once again. For the second time in a row, "Your Choice for Austria" will be held to determine the Austrian entry for NVSC #21. However, the exact method isn't known yet. There are two possibilities:
Possibility Nr. 1: A normal NS with 6 - 10 songs of different artists will be hosted, just like in NVSC #16. This will happen in case Austria doesn't take part in the PQR.
Possibility Nr. 2: An unknown Austrian artist will get nominated and will present 5 of his/her songs in YCFA. This method will get chosen in case Austria does take part in the PQR.
So depending on the SF1 results, we will either know the Austrian NS method in a few days or in some weeks. Of course we hope to be able to let possibility Nr. 1 happen.

  Armenian participation in doubt
The Armenian participation in the twenty first edition of the North Vision Song Contest is currently in doubt due to some specific details regarding the entrant and entry which were planned to be sent to the contest. A certain member of the North Broadcasting Council has shown a radical disagreement towards the entry due to its content.
This could possibly lead to the first Armenian withdrawal after twelve editions. |

 Hungary confirms participation in the next edition. A national selection is planned too. More details will be available later in the official thread of the country. |

 confirms its participation after an incredible failure last time. The selection-process is yet to be decided. In case of a preselection I thought about doing something like  did last edition. |

Bulgaria confirms participation!
Българска Национална Телевизия (BNT) has confirmed that  Bulgaria will take part in North Vision Song Contest #21, thus being the country's 16th participation.
The HoD stated that;
"An early confirmation is a good sign for us. We're currently having some financial problems but a budget was secured at least for the 21st edition. Other than that, there's no reason to withdraw at the moment as the public love NVSC especially after our strong return in #19!"
The current HoD stated also that he would manage Bulgaria in #21 before swapping to a new nation in #22.
However due to financial troubles after hosting 2 NS' recently, the entrant & entry will be selected internally, with the artist being revealed after the 2nd semi final results.

ALGERIA TO WITHDRAW?
The country's broadcaster has registered significant budget cuts, mostly due to organisation of national selections involving foreign singers, making the participation in doubt.
Country's head of the delegation, Mikhail Al-Sivan, didn't wanted to give more information regarding country's future in the contest.
Algeria has participated in the North Vision Song Contest 12 times debuting in the 8th edition, with their best result being  3rd, achieved in the 15th edition.
If the decision about withdrawal will be official, it will be country's second absence after missing 12th edition.
