Romania has confirmed participation in Eurovision Song Contest 2012. The national final is called "Selecţia Naţională" and consisted of one national final on March 10. Songs could be submitted between February 6 and February 26. A jury selected the songs to compete in the national final which took place in the capital city Bucharest.
