Can I comfirm with Andorra? Yes, you can! Welcome! Andorra can borrow Portugal. How even? It's like if I say that San Marino can borrow from Austria, Monaco can borrow from Belgium and Liechtenstein can borrow from Poland. Andorra has nothing to do with Portugal.

Yes, you can! Welcome! Andorra can borrow Portugal. How even? It's like if I say that San Marino can borrow from Austria, Monaco can borrow from Belgium and Liechtenstein can borrow from Poland. Andorra has nothing to do with Portugal. I understand why this is a problem. @theflyingshrek, you should know about this. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_Andorra#Ethnic_groupswww.indexmundi.com/andorra/demographics_profile.htmlwww.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/an.htmlAt least 14% of Andorra's population is Portuguese (more than French). Portuguese is listed as one of the dominant ethnic minorities in Andorra. Is the internet lying to me? Of course San Marino can't borrow from Austria. There's no significant Austrian population in San Marino. Same with Monaco's lack of Belgians and Liechtenstein's insignificant Polish presence. EDIT: This situation only applies to micronations because their musical presence lags behind all the bigger countries (obviously), especially in a monthly contest such as NNMC. I try to be lenient with which nations a micronation can borrow from. However, because I'm so lenient, I'm not the one who will approve the entries. If Andorra wants to borrow from Portugal, they would need to ask for approval from the player of Portugal, which right now is Francisco. My leniency is balanced out with the restriction by the player of the country being borrowed from.If ~Rethnas~, Francisco, and Tufkai unanimously agree that Andorra shouldn't borrow from Portugal, I'll restrict the borrowing to just neighboring countries. EDIT 2: I try to make NowNewMusic an inclusive contest because there's so much new music out there that deserves to be shared. But like I said, restrictions are there, too so that this contest doesn't get too crazy.

I looked through the channel. It certainly looks like it. The original viral video of PPAP (~90M views as of today) is from this channel.
I would also like to point out that certain joke entries have done well in contests. - "Gangnam Style" has done well in several contest before, even managing to win one. (What the heck though? ) - And didn't Romania win IMF with "Pe cimpoi"? Japan isn't necessarily going to flop if we have the right set of people participating. I think that the offical one is I allow different versions, too, as long as it's still officially by the original artist. I allowed a music video of an acoustic version to participate even though its original music video was released months ago. Last edition, did you know Taiwan's official entry is just another version of Alesso's song? Japan's entry is verified because both short and long version are from the same channel. The length of the original version is too short for this contest anyway, but because it became such a huge hit, a long version was probably done to possibly air in radio stations. It's just a different way for the song to stay relevant.
