Welcome to the fourth edition of
Chanson Pour L'Instant. To celebrate our tenth consecutive participation in this contest, our NS theme was going to be Eurovision contestants. Unfortunately none of the recent French contestants were interested - such a same since a lot of them could really use a boost in their miserable excuses of careers.
So, the theme then changed to French Northvision contestants. Out of all of the participants, only four of them confirmed that they would send entries - Margaux Avril, Kendji Girac, Julie Zenatti and Marina Kaye. Girac sent us this album that contained this weird hipsterish instrumental on repeat - even though it said on the box that there were 13 tracks. We gladly told him to f*** off, and when he pleaded 'No!!! I am not leaving this Earth with nothing but a 14th place finish in NNMC.", our esteemed chairman of our broadcaster, Inserér Lenomici XXI, responded, "Yes you are, and you don't want to leave sooner, do you?", before pointing a gun at Kendji. He ran out screaming like a little girl, before Lenomici took a bite out of the gun, revealing it was actually a giant stick of liquorice.
