The new national selection show 'X Factor Germany' will decide next edition's entrant.
THE FORMAT
As for the selection's schedule, the show is based on the following stages:
Producers' auditions - The producers of the show decide who is going to sing in front of the judges
Judges' auditions - In an audition room or arena audition
Bootcamp - Knock out, six chair challenge
Live shows
Twelve acts will make it to the live shows, having one elemination until week 9 (semi-final). The top three will advance to the grand final.
GUEST APPEARANCES
Each week, there are two guest appearances on the show, which will be revealed throughout the days before the show.
COACHES
The judges for the first season are:
German recording artist and national selection participant ("Nichts geht mehr)
JOHANNES OERDING (𝖋𝖑𝖔𝖗𝖎𝖆𝖓 )
Former North Vision entrant (#4 "Neon", #19 "Beat To My Melody)
LENA (TBA)
A successful German artist with both English and German language songs ("Cold As Ice", "Wie Schön Du Bist")
SARAH CONNOR (TBA)
Front-singer of German group "Silbermond"
STEFANIE KLOSS (TBA)
You can now apply for one of the three remaining judges till tomorrow, 23:59:59 CET. Please remember that having a judge will require some time to judge all the artists at the auditions, bootcamp and six chair challenge as well as deciding the result of the sing offs each live show.
CATEGORIES
The show will consist of the four following categories: Over 25s, Groups, Boys and Girls. A poll will be launched deciding which judge to receive which category.
