FORMAT
North Laul has been the Estonian National Selection for the NorthVision Song Contest since #13 (with a small pause between #20-#21). Ofter recognised as the "best Estonian family TV show", it is back this year with a new twist!
In North Laul 22, 14 acts will battle through 3 phases in order to win the ticket to glory and represent Estonia at the upcoming North Vision Song Contest.
PROCESS
This edition will consist of 3 phases:
1. PIMESTAMA
Meaning "blind", PIMSTAMA will decide the best 8 out of 14 songs. Juries will receive a recap with the songs, however, the screen will be black as to avoid judging the songs from another point of view, but artistic. Consequently, Estonia is looking now for 8 juries!
2. FINAALKONTSERT
This round will determine the best 3 out of 8.
Juries will award 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 0 and 0 from the best to the worst song.
Televoters will rate the songs from 0 to 5000. Please bear in mind that you do not have to split 5000 points, but to rate the songs!
TOP 3
From 14 to 8 to 3 and now to 1! The results from the first two rounds together with a poll opened will determine the lucky song who will represent Estonia!
