Since the 28th of December, in every  maronesian city, town or village, it feels like New Year's Eve has already came. All around the country, the celebrations in honour of Jillian's success in  Alkyria are becoming bigger and bigger, especially in Vamislava. Many maronesian fans of Banks are looking forward for the highlight of tonight's celebrations in the capital - she'll kick off the new year with performing "Beggin' for thread" right at 00:00 on the National Square, so you could look forward for them.
Right back to the news: This morning, the Maronesian broadcaster confirmed their participation and confirmed that it's 100% sure that Maronesia will be hosting the next edition of the contest, where all the 55 countries from the Fantasia World (especially the debutants   ) would be "warmly welcomed". Rumours say that the capital will be hosting the competition, but the broadcaster announced that there would be a bidding phase to decide the arena which will host the competition.
It was also confirmed that the host country would be one of the last ones to announce their entry. It isn't decided whether the entry would be picked internally or through a selection.
Right now, all I can say is how glad I am for bringing the contest in my country and I want to say a really big "Thank you" to all the people, who supported the maronesian entry. I hope you'll enjoy the next edition of contest, best of luck for all of you!   |

Te Ao is obviously in!
After the surprising auto-qualification which set the whole country in euphoria, Te Ao is ready to participate in the final of the sixth edition!
Their previously started NS 'A Song for Claudia Kane' will still be used to determine the entry.

  Lakadamia confirms !
After the impressive 2nd place of Léa Castel with Abîmée, it was quite sure that Lakadamia will be present, especially after that more than 80 Millions of Lakadamians watched the FC #5 Grand Final Live,
It was also confirmed by the broadcaster that the winner of the Lakadamia Music Festival #6,   Susanne Sundfør, will be kept as the Lakadamian singer for FC #6. Also her song, Accelerate, which she won LMF #6 months ago, will be taken as her entry for the Fantasia Contest !
Therefore, we are able to announce the Lakadamian entry for the 6th Fantasia Contest :

 BAESNIA CONFIRMS! BTV already confirmed earlier with a national selection.
However, due to technical issues and the winner going to nvsc the show was cancelled.
Miranda Sings has chosen the new entrant for Maronesia internally.
Here is a little teaser:

Atlandia to participate! Atlandian Radio Television (ART) has once again confirmed today that despite staying out of the final
last edition, the country will be competing at the upcoming sixth edition of Fantasia Contest in Maronesia!
The broadcaster is yet to reveal which selection method they have opted in order to find the best entrant possible to
represent the nation.
However, some sources say that ART is working hard on two Fantasia Contest-related projects at the same time.
One focuses on creating the perfect entry for the upcoming edition for an internally selected artist and the other one is
developing a concept of a national selection ART FESTIVAL revamp. According to the source, it is expected that
if project one succeeds, the national selection is going to be delayed until the next edition. If it doesn't
manage to be completed before the entry deadline, national selection is going to be held.
None of the rumours were neither denied nor confirmed by the ART officials. |

ENTRY REVEALED
Enjiri Qalasy ♦ After a long discussion, it was decided how Pashlanahuy will choose the next entrant.
The HoD and the delegation came to the conclusion that the currently running Super Final of
"Pashi Zhuldyzy" will be cancelled and therefore another entry will be chosen internally.
So who will finally compete for Pashlanahuy in FC #6 held in Maronesia?

The girl group consists of three recently chosen members, and these are (on the image from left to right): ► Erika Gerceg ► Misha Romanova ► Anastasia Kozhevnikova They came together through a reality show, where the old members of VIA Gra searched for three new ones. So that's how Erika from Pohunskia came to Misha and Anastasia from Pashlanahuy. They already tried to represent flagpohuskia Pohunskia with their song "Tak sil'no", but failed in the national selection. Now they will try for Pashlanahuy with their recently released song.  Kassandra to fly the flag of Lanovina !Cöhln, 2nd January - Kassandra has won the super-final of Lanovision Song Festival with 51,52% of the public vote and will therefore represent Lanovina with her song "Run". Ember Island managed to finish 2nd with her song "Creep". Kassandra was born in Slowkö, in eastern Lanovina, and moved to  Eldance at the age of 16. After competing and failing in the Eldancan National Selection with her song "Delete", she tried it in her home country with "Run" and won both the first round and the super final. We wish her the best of luck in Maronesia !
